Because I severely underestimated how much content was left before Chapter I would be complete. 0.13 is already twice the size of 0.12, and if I don't split it, it'll end up being 4-5x + bigger. But I’ll probably split it so it's closer to 3x the size, so I can release it in 1-2 months.
Turns out it takes more than 5 months to complete an update 3x + bigger than the previous which took 3 months.
Ey man! Don't worry about pacing. Sounds awesome that the updates will be bigger. I have faith in you! The updates since the first release have been downright amazing and give me so much anticipation (which can only crumble hard... no just joking

) for what's to come.
One thing for instance, about Eternum, what I think makes the development so special, is that every update can be played as an individual chapter, and it always fulfills this "arch" of tension story-wise.
The things that were hinted on last update usually all get delivered on; there are some things introduced within the update that get a satisfying result or finish later on within it; and it also leaves something for the next update that doesn't hurt the experience in the moment.
That will forever have my preference over shorter updates that feel (slightly) underwhelming or even (like most games) feel like "here's some of the progress I've been making, shared randomly" I hate nothing more than when the only thing that happens within an update is a scene that gets cut in the middle, has very little happen in it or feels out of place or just dropped in without a fitting acceleration or reason.
The reason I'm sharing this is actually because I feel like you have this sense for timing, build up, tension, arch, sensation inducing (The sensual head massage in the pool is such a lovely touch that I've never seen anyone else do that way and gave me goosebumps) and story!
Just here to tell you I notice and it is great.
And yes I compare your game to Eternum in terms of hitting the nail on the head with the vibe for me.
