well, it has been ONLY 7-8 months for those 1000 renders and 13 animations...but the most important thing is - HE IS STILL FAR FROM DONE WITH IT!

13 animations holy. 8 months after an update and all we get is 13 animations? I don't know how he's working, but that is just a final nail in his coffin. People have been waiting for this update for past 8 months, and we will get so little content? I don't know what happened on his side, but surely 3/4 of the explanations he would say wouldn't surprise anybody.

I really find your work disappointing, other games, considering the time it's taking to develop this update over the course of 8 or 9 months, make at least more than 50 animations or even reach 100, and that's developers with few backers, but your brother, you reached 1000 backers, it already seems like a scam to me, just say that you're too lazy to work on the project, do 1000 renders seem like a lot to you in 8 months? While others are negative / disappointed in your progress. I say don't let it discourage you at all and keep it up, While yeah I do wish more renders were completed but if it's not your main priority ( you have a job) , it's understandable from me. At any rate can't wait till you do finish this update so I can replay the game I skipped the last few as I kind of just forgot to play them for one reason or another. So it's gonna be like a brand new game for me when I do play it

No, this was just another test animation with my new workflow. I practised in advance with all these tests to make sure all of the animations I will make with Kayla are as good as possible.

whats with the story? why Kayla suddenly woke up tired with "night shift" reason after playing spin the bottle the night before? why the MC not punching Rob for traumatizing Kayla? and the MC not even rushing to search and comfort Kayla... is the dev shit at writing stories?

Because mc is not type of guy to easily start fights with other people? Also he is not that close kayla anyway. To start getting into fights in her behalf and then comforting her ignoring everything else.

Saying I'm milking people because I haven't released anything in 8 months is dumb. I made the equivalent of 3 updates during that time. And I could have released these updates, but I didn't want them to end in a boring way like 0.12.
It's also worth noting that I still can't work full-time on this project. I did quit my part-time job a couple months ago to allocate more time on the game, but I don't want to risk quitting my studies yet. Especially that a Steam release isn't guaranteed, in which case I'd be completely fucked if I decided to quit everything today without getting my degree AND not even get on Steam.
My workflow is also different than most other devs. There's a reason very few people use Virt-A-Mate for their games, and an even better reason why (as far as I know) none of them look like this:
It's a fucking pain to make VaM look like this consistently.
But I'm still choosing it over DAZ or HS2 any day, mostly because of its huge potential for animations, but also because it makes DESIRIUM unique.
And Wojtek96 what are you doing, praying on my downfall? Every person supporting the project is getting me closer to the final goal of working full-time as a game dev, and guess what, delivering faster updates.
