Hi everyone,

I just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all of you who have been patiently supporting Despair from day one. Your messages, encouragement, and continued interest in the game—even during its quiet moments—have meant the world to me

I also want to be honest and apologize for the long delay in releasing Episode 2. I know it’s been a while, and I know how frustrating that can be—especially with a story that’s just beginning to unfold.

There were a lot of reasons behind the delay. I had to move to another town, I struggled with some health issues, and there were other personal matters I had to deal with along the way. Life hit a bit hard—but please know that the project was always in my heart.

That said, I promise you this: moving forward, the updates will be faster, bigger, and better. The setbacks I faced were mainly tied to this particular update. Now that things have settled down, I’m fully committed to being more consistent and responsible in the development of the game.

Thank you again for believing in Despair, for sticking around, and for giving this story a place in your time and interest. I truly can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Good morning, first of all I want to say sorry it took a lot of time for this update to be release.. there are numerous reasons why it got delayed, one of the main reasons is, while waiting for the seeker tier release I realized that there are some scenes that I'm not that satisfied causing for me to re-create some scenes and also add new ones but still it doesn't change the fact that I failed to deliver it on time so I'm really sorry for that. All paid tiers can now access the game. Public release has been moved to July 23, again I'm really sorry for the long delay and thank you so much for the patience and understanding!

The whole game now currently sits at:

• 2300 Renders
• 6000 Lines of Codes
• 27892 Words
• 9 Animations

I really recommend to start a new!

Hmm...I noticed a few potential issues...

These images below show there are no choices available to pick...I had to use URM select choice to move those scenes forward. (Caused by using the Universal Choice Descriptor Mod...)

And when MC ran into Triss in the ally (when MC was running away from the gang), MC actually kissed Triss at the bar earlier on...but it says he didn't. (URM shows the earlier kiss choice is false)




Also, a side note...does MC have some kind of ability (superpower) when he threw the gang member against the vehicle from a distance? And if so, maybe there should be a tag added to represent it in the genre section.

1. Are you using any mods? if yes, this might be the culprit behind it, I just checked it any It's working fine for me but I'll take a deeper look into this.. thank you for reporting

Thanks for the reply. And yes I was using the Universal Choice Descriptor mod, and those phone choices did show up after I removed that mod. Sorry for not checking if it was on my end.

I'm also using a custom font out line, and a quick menu hide / display script which works well with your title.

Nice catch. I’ve fixed these errors in my mod scripts. It seems the phone scene has limited space, so any extra words or text can make the choice disappear and not show up. As for the bar kiss, the variable triss_bar_kiss was missing from the choice.

Good thing I read your comment before updating the mod thread.

Also are you going to allow the reader to make choices? or is everything mandatory the choice to be in class F and actually listen to Ren is dumb and I would have cracked him one already

As for the girls...Kylie is good (so far), Erin is my favorite, Luna doesn't seem so bad as she looked at first...
