Great noose y'all, I've done a lot in the past 2 weeks (or at least I'd like to think so).

I've finished a couple of barebones system for the gacha and particularly the world map. The video below is a short demonstration of how you'd be able to drag and zoom around the map. (Ignore the background noise, LOL)


The image below is when you click a POI (Point of Interest) on the map, where a sidepanel will appear. The button should teleport you to that location (which will be done through eventing).

I won't show the UI assets for now cause I'm still largely undecided with them, altho they're already somewhat finished.

Next on the agenda is to configure Triacontane's character plugin to have that dynamic picture bust of the main character, then make a way to handle defeat and normal CGs as well as corruption.

I tried drawing a mail character, and while can't say it went as well as I'd like it, I'm satisfied with how it turned out:

On development side of things, I've finished setting up the logic to handle defeat and normal CGs as Ive mentioned in the previous post. I've added a Time System (think of Persona), altho that one still needs rigorous testing. I've finished a barebones system for the Ero status too! Same goes for corruption stats, sex traits, and lewd curses (some of them will be reflected on the standing picture). They're pretty basic, but it gets the job done.

So what's next on the agenda?

I'm currently trying to set up a message history I just bought, some minor things, and lastly the mandatory CG Gallery.

After that, I'm looking forward to releasing a playable prototype (without story), which will act as a proof of concept.

The Health Report, or Ero Status for clarity, is still largely WIP. But justto have something to show in this update, here are the drafts I've finished:

Hello, been slow moving development-wise. I was capping when I said I was done with the GUI side of things... I ended up revising the whole thing like 4 times already.

I've compiled the game to let you all get a feel of it (and maybe give some feedback).

My files were quarantined by my antivirus due to a detection of Evogen. What is occuring?
1. Consider why you would choose to have such poor antivirus software.
2. If possible, configure AV soft to not quarantine but just alert you.
3. Use to check anything that is alerted (or everything you download if you are paranoid)

You might have caught a real one!

I use to install all stuff that is downloaded from this site in isolated filesystem containers. That way you can see if the package tries to write bad things to places it should not.

Or just wait for other reports - no game is worth losing your system over.

My friend also reported windows defender triggering her antivirus, but I've really no clue what's causing it. I thought it was simply a false positive*

I just did a scan of my project files and there doesn't seem to be any alarm:

My best guess is that antivirus doesnt like enigma virtual box. I'll omit it next time when I do a preview build

Yes, I did after a cursory check of my files. Both windows defender and malwarebytes came up with nothing

Didn't know rpgm capable of making something like this.
imo the "enhance" button doesn't look interactable, maybe better to put it next to "bond" button and give it similar button box. The "reset" button i assuming to reset character attributes can stay where it's at.

You might have missed it since I added it on the OP just recently, but the game is supposed to be a mock gacha game (minus the microtransaction, everything is grinded for within the game). Characters are basically acquired through limited-time banners.

(That 20-day countdown might look long, but that only represents the game's in-game time. It takes about 20 minutea IRL for a banner refresh.)

The UI was basically evented, so there's a lot more freedom for customization. The plugin used was Hendrix Picture UI coupled with a few custom plugins.

Anyways, as for the button, I'll try using different colors first to see if it helps differentiate it from other elements in the window. Otherwise, I'll consider your suggestion.

now i curios how the combat mechanics gonna be :unsure:
It's either your bog-standard rpg maker turn base or action combat. I am currently eyeing Action Combat from the same author as Picture UI, but I'm fresh outta poverty so that's still somewhat of a big IF xD.

In short, expect turn base combat.

As for the specifics, you play with a single character. Skills and passives will also be locked to that specific character. You can change character outside of combat, that kinda thing. However, I am still open for suggestion regarding this.
