The dev just decided to redo a lot of the earlier scenes and dialogue for some reason, In the patreon post for v0.29 he said this:

I won't call this a major update, nope, it's more like a "major refresh" with new contents.
I gave the scenes some makeover and and even rewrote the scripts.
Don't worry about the missing scenes,
Those scenes are just taking a little break for a makeover, and they'll be back better than ever.
I think this update is best enjoyed from the beginning. Try it out

lovestorygames has a very unusual and strange approach to creating this game. It is quite obvious that he has done a huge amount of work to date, but for some reason he is removing old content from new updates. In version 0.29, he deleted early stories related to going to the beach, as well as content that related to visiting his work colleague's house and his boss's house, as well as content in which MC met with the boss's wife at the hotel. I don't understand at all why he's doing this? It's a very strange approach.
It can be assumed that in the future he will create a version of the game that will include both new plots and those that are currently deleted. It is possible to make an assumption, but there is no certainty about it and this is extremely regrettable, since this game, in my opinion, has great potential.

To unlock the animations, I would recommend speeding through all the choices from the beginning (auto clicker or skip button with unseen text option selected), or just playing through the whole game again to see the new dialogue and animations if you have not done so, It should work. I don't know what you are referring to as the "extreme plot" , but the dev has removed many things from this update and the gallery should end at "Bathroom Handjob(4) for now.

Well, first off, the interesting premise was at least inspired if not completely ripped off from Indecent Wife Hana, the game then continued on a slow course with a focus on Kenji and the mystery NTR elements. If I remember correctly, I believe the game started to derail with the "Sandbox' update that aimed to differentiate the game from Indecent Wife Hana and other NTR visual novels, the dev's other game "Stolen" also came out, further splitting the developing power. The sandbox mode and Stolen only took attention away from the main storyline of the game, since then, we have been given game versions with content pointlessly removed, reworked, and rehashed when the game lacks substantial pornographic content with Kenji, and almost no sense of where we are in the narrative.
Second off, I don't believe anyone here on the forum has said anything good about the game and it's content that isn't surface level or anything good about the dev in a long time. I believe that most people that have followed the game for a moderate amount of time know that the game updates can be awfully disappointing and sometimes pointless, I think that the people that are supporting the game are mostly not here on the forum, but on the dev's discord. The supporters are probably split into multiple groups, people that still believe in the game, people that just don't care and want to see the game to completion, no matter how long it takes, and people that have money to burn and will support any game that catches their eye.
I myself, will continue to upload the game versions here on the forum for the people.

The New Year's Special is just the main character and Rina bumping into a couple members of the Yakuza, the yakuza then has Rina follow him to the bathroom to clean his clothes that were dirtied by the bump, the main character of course starts to imagine Rina being fucked, this is of course shown through the blurry animations that the main game is full of. The special ends with Rina saying that nothing happened and the main character thinking that she smells like sweat and something else. The dev said that there was more to come, but we have seen nothing yet. It is an interesting storyline, but would need to be expanded upon to become worthwhile.
The dev already has 2 storylines that aren't finished (Devoted Wife and Stolen). I'm not sure adding a third story is the best idea for LoveStory right now...especially since many are not enjoying the non-stop blurred images. Stolen hasn't been touched in 6 months. It seems like a poor choice to start a third story when people are unhappy with what is currently offered.

I agree, but he already has decided to start a third storyline with the New Years Special, but he might put that on the back burner like Stolen and focus on the mess of an story that is the main game.

This game is becoming more and more disappointing. It started of so promisingly but now it keeps seems to disappoint. I haven't bothered with the last couple of updates going by the views on here I haven't missed much. Taking scenes out but putting them back in the future, blurred images I really don't understand what he is trying to do. It seems that people on here have tried to chat with him but he does not take kindly to any thoughts about his game. Throwing your toys out of the pram is a bit sad and childish. I haven't completely given up on it but my hopes are not high.
Yeah you haven't missed anything. It's the same stuff happening in different areas and that's it. There's been no story progression in months. The only new story is the short New Years special download that was maybe 2 mins worth of content.
