One thing the dev could do would be a "path" pattern, rather than have the MC's wife become a total sloot and just fcks anyone like now with both Kenji and the old boss. If it were seperate paths, then people would be more drawn to it. Sure it might ruin the income a bit due to people only supporting a specific path, but doing all in one go makes it stale.Personally I think that NTR games, or rather GOOD NTR games are hard to come by, so it's easy for these devs to pick up a decent following when they put effort into their games. However they realize that a solid amount of the intensity, comes from the lead up to the big moments. The first time the MC's girlfriend/wife is touched, first time they suck another guys dick, and of course the first time they have sex with another guy. Knowing that this is where the big appeal is, they realize that milking those feelings of intensity between each key moment results in the highest retention of players. It takes a good writer to keep an NTR story engaging past the initial moments of intensity and they most likely fear stagnation after we finally see Rina having sex with Kenji.
In a way I get it. It does get hard to make it work, because eventually seeing the girlfriend/wife fucking the same people over and over gets old. So to curb that it usually means upping the stakes over and over. But that also has a ceiling to it as well so it takes a careful hand. The Adventurous Couple is an example of a game that's hit that ceiling and is now trying to find ways to make it engaging without just constant raising the stakes and increasing the sex scenes.
Off the top of my head I can name a few that have managed it without getting stale. You must be registered to see the linksdid a good job of telling a NTR story from the female POV, and having the female lead going more and more insane as she NTR's the protag as a means to try to keep him to herself. A good netorase game that is told from the male POV that also kicked the trend wasYou must be registered to see the links, which has the male MC infected with a virus which makes him only aroused by getting cucked and isn't the typical "Wife leaves you for big dick" type NTR. You could even maybe sayYou must be registered to see the linksis equally as good at being incredibly engaging, but the NTR in that game is for sure not the main focus. Tho the last couple updates have been centered on flushing out the NTR arc.
All this to say, the dev is for sure milking every cliff hanger they can for the paycheck. But part of me understands their struggle, because surely once they have Rina fucking a bunch of different guys, the impact will lessen and numbers will most likely drop, unless they can tell a gripping story. And so far, story writing hasn't really been this dev's strongest point. It's pretty much run of the mill office worker getting off to his wife having sexual encounters with both his boss and his Wife's friend's son. Nothing really to it besides that.
This is something some dev's do, a good example being 3Diddly'sOne thing the dev could do would be a "path" pattern, rather than have the MC's wife become a total sloot and just fcks anyone like now with both Kenji and the old boss. Buddy, this is his game, yes, but this is the first time I've seen a link to the game being asked in another thread. I'm not exactly against it, I just think that if a link is not shared in the game branch, then it's definitely not worth waiting for it here.Does any one have the download link for Stolen v0.17 or v0.18. Made by the same dev
Teaasing only works within a rythm together with giving and showing something. Why doesn't he acknowledge that? But they followed it up by justifying their actions by saying "Just a reminder that teasing is an important element for this project ,it's written in the patreon page as well" With one hand they win back some points in my eyes, only to lose them again with the other hand by being incredibly tone deaf lmao.
No it's a pretty common trend in his comments that he deletes most non-positive reviews.Teaasing only works within a rythm together with giving and showing something. Why doesn't he acknowledge that?
And why does he delete your criticism? Was it phrased unappropriately?
I have to absolutely agree with the previous speaker....the dev. has managed to drive the interest to zero, at least for me...I only casually drop by...how can you offend even more people in every update by overwhelming people's interest so much that people turn away over time...I just don't understand it!!!!This is a master example in enraging customers (without necessity I would still guess). Teasing is alright if in a finished book or movie or game the consumer can go forward in the story and you have an immediate imterplay between tease and fullfillment, hinting and showing, announcing and doing. But you can't give next to nothing in monthly updates. Not only regarding not getting your moneys worth but more important: the psychological appeal breaks off, the tension can't be held up because as a consumer of fiction you lose this kind of frustrated tension in these intervals. Frustration tends to turn into anger if it lasts too long and then, if it's not your real, own life, it turns into indifference, you lose interest. You need worthwile content in each update, you can't tease only over two updates and then give something maybe the next time. This ruins the dynamics and the impact on your viewers.
It is as if not only the MC is getting cucked but the viewer as well. If the dev would be intending that, he couldn't do it better.
Also you can tease in a different way: you don't need to show the main action, but you could for example show high quality views of her before the start of the scene, so that the viewer's imagination has something to work on instead of nothing.
