and the next phrase is “I know you're...” ?
I just can't logically connect the continuation with the previous text. It sounds like 'I know you're there,' which creates a certain cognitive dissonance in terms of meaning.
“I know you're hearing” makes more sense, maybe that's it.

It definitely sounds different in the video, though. It’s edited in a way that it sounds like 'It’s Kid'.
P.S.
SRT subtitles are not tied to video resolution, so no difference ))
P.P.S.Although now I'm reading the subtitles and there are certain discrepancies with the dubbed text, maybe it's the corrected text, or the voice actors changed it a bit.
for example
“First, take this medication.”
and the subtitles say.
“First, take these vitamins.”
All right, we'll mix video and text, make our own Frankenstein so to speak)))))

what the actual fuck. the subtitles make more sense, but none of that comes through clearly or makes sense in the audio.
like when he says "hello silent".. you need a long pause between those two words, the idea is hes verbalizing the fact the guy on the other end hasn't responded hence "silent" then you need another pause before he says just kidding, as in.. he knows the guy is there and isn't saying anything? or he's pretending he can't hear the other guy even though he hasnt spoken?? it's a badly written joke, then its "i know what you're hearing" which i assume is in reference to the traffic.

fuck sake why do i even care :confused: i didnt even enjoy the crazy harley sexfest cos the camera was just all over the place, it was pov most the time which just doesnt work for me.

Damn, this is the first time I have come across the Dezmall thread but it’s wild that people actually find the last video disappointing. IMO This was the only video in a long long time from Dezmall that was actually good. Only one that actually felt different and had unique personality in a long time. For one, this is the only animation that nails Harley’s personality and VA was phenomenal! And two, the lighting has become much better and more stylised. I do agree that the last camera angles was a bit wobbly tho.

Ik it’s stupid of me to reply to old thread but still, this is the first time I came here, expecting some new year updates lol

Nah I disagree he wasted a lot of time on the intro and he mentioned that it was the part that gave him the most trouble the sex scene was fantastic but it wasn't his best work but But I found it better than the second part of the Frozen animation.

Eh personally i'm just not a fan of his last few model choices.. frozen was overdone, also there's far more interesting characters imo.. then harley also way overdone.. and going back to some of his best work like Lulu, the models are just so much better then what he's been using as of recent

For me his intros and stories are the thing that separates him from other animators because if not for that he would just be another one of those ”too much blendery“ animators. And Harley’s VA might be the best VA that has been done so far.

So her VA’s great voice acting(which is the main reason to watch Dezmall) along with teasing and sex scenes was perfect imo. Also I can’t stress enough this is the first time I felt like I saw a noticeable change in his animation and it was an upward change too. Before it all felt a bit samey imo.
