Yeah I see what your saying and agree that it's not consistent with corruption steps. I feel there is corruption of the girl and then the environment they are in is inherently corrupt. Think of elf/orc; elves are peaceful but the orcs are the aggressor/invader. The orcs invasion and capture of the female elves causes them to become sexually corrupt. It is early, but Jennifer is at her most naive in the story and made a bad judgement call. This then contrasts with how brutal the men in the town are. One mistake could prove detrimental to the character and lead to the story ending. I find this interesting as it puts more weight on player choices and creates a sense of unease for the environment. The scene felt more brutal than anything I've ever read so I wanted to go with it. I could have ended it with Ashley being a bitch, stepping over her, calling her a slut, and leaving her there. However, I enjoyed showing her worried and panicking over her sister. Obviously most people are skipping over text scene collecting and will most likely be put off by it. Nothing I can do about that, its a new game people want to judge if it's any good.

The genre thing is my bad as I thought they were 1 to 1 with the tags and autoupdated the tags when new ones are placed in the block. Realized on this update when I looked at the tags on the latest_update page that it was not the case

Yeah that's the current plan with Todd/Amber. She's pretty much corrupted already so someone trying to fix her is more interesting (and of course she'll be doing things behind his back). You can set the characters per second in the settings which will get rid of the typewriter effect. It won't make it so a new text box appears after every click though.
