Thirdly , corruption adjusts dialogue and reactions and responses based on values so adjusting them manually would ruin the game's flow.
Lastly , patreon scenes are non canon and for those that prefer paying money to us , none of the game's in game's events are locked behind anything.

In this early versions saves mostly work but errors can happen since we're adding functions people are asking.
That results in renpy shitting itself sometimes.

So to answer the review anyway here's a response since I'm too tired to even bother to message them.
cakeofdoom See firstly , the reason the girls are locked with time slot is so you have the ability to explore the university and for realism.
Idk what world you're living in but people don't just give you attention, they are busy in their lives as well depending on time of the day.
Secondly , 200 million characters introduced
If about 11 people feels too much for you to remember holy shit I pity your IRL social life.
Thirdly , Haven't looked into the code but code will be rewritten
Okay if you don't know how development or python even works why are you even bothering to criticize it?
The game has variables , choice remembering setups , scenes and dialogue changes depending on choice and corruption levels so what the fuck are you on about?
The game has about 5 function stats and 3 hidden ones , which again your ass can't locate because that requires understanding python.
Now coming to your last segment of people saying you're cynical and hence giving the 2 star , trust me keep that sympathy star and shove it where the sun doesn't shine
Cynical is very loose term , you're delusional at best and at worst mentally handicapped.
Oh and just to end it on a proper note , perhaps consider learning how games are developed first before educating other devs on it.
Now do me and others here a favor and hit that unwatch thread on left top , I'd rather have people that play the game properly and judge it than shit stained houseflies like you around.

To address some points: calling a character spending every single whole afternoon watching TV a schedule is a stretch even for an insecure dime-a-dozen "game developer" like you. 200mil is an over-exaggeration for effect (I'm sure you know what that is, being human and such), but your 11 characters don't amount to one meth addicts personality IRL, sry. Yea, gotta agree. I like the art and the story seems interesting, but ugh... sandbox. It's time-consuming & draining. Last thing I wanna do is feel like I'm workin on my day off. I'll give this a go if the dev adds a way to skip the sandbox filler and let us enjoy it as a vn.

This is a recurring theme with devs that choose sandbox. I wonder if the Dev can give us some insight as to why a one would choose to go for a quarter of the potential audience? I theorize it's much like politics, the devs have their bubble they communicate with and think everyone love sandbox, when in reality it's the opposite? Just don't understand the decision process with going sandbox, just seems like voluntarily putting a ball and chain to your project.Really liked this game, then sandbox started..

It's a "business" decision for most. If you pad the game by gatekeeping plot progression through repeatable bs, you can stretch actual content delivery. They know most people don't give a fuck about repeatable shit and a gazillion clicks to navigate, they aren't stupid. Time wasting is intentional.

Is there a fix for the textbox. It annoying the hell out of me.
The names and text are almost in the middle of the screen and keep changing. I can't really enjoy the game with all the distractions

Okay so think of it like this
There are two types of sandbox devs.
One - Milking cuz they want to.
Two - Exists because vn is impossible in that format without annoying playerrs.
So let me explain this to give you an idea of as you said by the dev.
There are roughly 11 girls in the game right? perhaps even more later on.
Now doing a vn mode with these in our form factor would require writing segments between the girls , which isn't too hard from the start but gets super messy at the late angle.
Secondly , some people prefer the college girls , some people prefer kimiko and zoey as you can see in poll
and then some people prefer the canon story where you just want to see where it goes.
That is another reason why sandbox allows you to just go towards her instead.
Now with all that said a vn only mode is in the works but currently our hands are loaded that's all.
