It's a harem, but it's not what players of this genre usually look for. The usual thing is that they want a harem in which all the LIs in the game can be included. That said, it doesn't mean that other types of harems are fake, just that they don't meet expectations.

Some actually do think it's fake. They even call it a fake harem. We've all seen them doin it. There's a even a few that throws fits like a child. I do agree that when people see the word harem they expect all of the girls. If they can't have all of them, that's when issues arise.

Problem is not including all the girls , problem is expecting girls to be real and genuine and then expecting them in harem.

It could be if it's purely lust based but love / romance harem makes no sense writing wise.

I agree. But that's exactly what a lot of harem players want. I think. It's what my mind tells me anyway. There can be a harem based on love, it's not completely out of the ordinary in a porn world. It's been done in a few games. But that also brings into my mind that it's more of a polyamorous family. Which isn't the fantasy a lot of harem players want.

I don't know. It's best I don't talk about things I don't really understand and assumin shit can create arguments where none are needed. I'm just a monogamy player who dabbles in harem games.

That's why it's a fantasy and fiction, because it's something you're not likely to have in the real world.

Additionally, there are many harem games based on romance (or with a romance route for all LIs at least) and some of them with very well done plots and character development. In some cases the challenge is to convince the LIs to be part of a harem that they initially repudiate. The best ones usually have a slow development of events where the MC gradually achieves the objective.

If you think a harem game is only about putting a lot of naked girls on the screen, then no wonder you're not enthusiastic about them.

The truth is that unless you have a good story, good development of the LIs and an MC who is interesting to identify with, the game will surely be a failure.

For example, putting in a bunch of sluts with which the MC (and really anyone) can have sex as soon as the game starts is a terrible idea, including prostitutes with which the MC can have sex almost immediately is another lousy idea. In fact, in several harem games the prostitute included is on her first day and her only client before leaving the profession is the MC (in a futile attempt to get us leniency and that she interest us as LI)

Once we have enough episodes we might consider giving the option to play the canon story in avn mode.

Currently only have prologue + EP 1 , so yeah.

It's not impossible to do just time consuming and tedious however I would recommend you to play the sandbox once , ours isn't a grindfest but more of a choose where you go and then goes back into avn mode then for scenes.

I gave it a shot, got through the prologue which was actually pretty good and then I hit the sandbox. I lasted about 40 mins in the sandbox and closed the game. Now ill be honest I don't like sandboxes but I can get through them if there fairly straightforward or well designed, unfortunately this one is not that. Its clunky, its got your be at x at x time on x day style events. Most stuff was fairly linear or required you doing one event first which completely undermines the need for sandbox other than to try to drag out player engagement.

Next the lis, pretty good models on all of them and a good variety but its a kind of weird system where some are monogamous love paths and some are corruption paths that the devs have said can be in a harem of 6 girls(only corruption path girls in harem). I find the trying to be realistic with some girls(aka they would never join a harem because of x), to the flip side you can corrupt 6 girls into a harem relationship is kind of a mess to be honest. If your trying to build a "realistic" game then having any harem is nonsense and if your trying to appeal to harem fans I got bad news this it aint it for them. They want the complete power fantasy of having all the girls and more often than not in a romantic relationship too, not corruption. I genuinely think this game has potential but has too many flaws atm to recommend.

Not all , corruption girls only.

You have to figure which ones those are , 7 can be in harem so far.

If you have a problem with that , I would suggest to not play the game.
