Im also stuck here. I even changed my computer time to 5:45 pm and am just to find nothing, I'm guessing we have to wait for the next update to solve the puzzle
The idea behind it (which isnt exactly obvious the first go round but it'll make sense after a few iterations) is that time passes there between updates, so more of the mansion will become accessible over time
That's the lore reason at least the real reason that part only feels like a portion of a greater thing is because i ran out of time while working on 0.29 so I wasn't able to finish the part I wanted to. (Nor do I think I'll have the time to finish it for 0.30, I had to prioritize the main story quest, but we'll see.)

The purpose of that first thing you mentioned is that at least when I play H-games when I can anticipate the end of the current content, I begin to focus less on the story because I know it's about to abruptly stop. Could just be a me thing, though it's not like its hard to tell where the content for a character ends there is big text underneath the number that says TO BE CONTINUED IN FUTURE UPDATES.
I remember you bringing this up last time and I still have never seen an instance of scrollwheel advancing text in a VN lmao, it can't possibly be standard and I'm pretty sure I don't have that much control over the input system of unity (or I don't have enough knowledge on the subject) to make it happen.
Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed the most recent content, I forgot how fucked up some of that Valentina and Sidney dialogue was lmao, look forward to 0.30 and beyond
