We need Marissa and Justin to go to cosplay con. Imagine her cosplaing the character from a piece of media both her and Jeremy like and bond over, only for Justic to fuck her in it, while know nothing about the character she cosplaying. For him, she only look hot in it. That would be a nice development

Don't expect it before January of next year, with February being the likeliest candidate.
The development cycle is getting considerably longer now so probably January at a minimum like the person above me said.
I can't say exactly what is all leading to the delay, but I have a few theories. The biggest thing I feel is that the dev was being pressured to push Justin more; there was re-writing mentioned. I feel that is unfortunate because the Flora arc was very good and more in line with the natural corruption of Marissa.
It is said that the scope is much larger this update. I hope it is. There is no mentioned release date. Since it has already been a couple months, I am a bit concerned. The last update on Patreon was also pretty brief. I really feel this title is different and unique. I just hope they're not going down a milking path. Dev seems like a pretty solid person.

I could be wrong, but I thought I read that the developer started a new job with longer hours, which left him less time to work on the story/game. I remember him saying, "by the time I get home from work I'm exhausted." For that reason, we're seeing fewer progress posts and it may take longer for updates to drop. I don't think he's given up or succumb to pressure from subs. Just be patient.
That could be factoring in, for sure. For all the reasons and obstacles life can provide, I definitely want to be patient and give the benefit of the doubt.

There are a lot of factors contributing to this dev cycle being the longest one yet.
- My job eating up a lot of my time.
- V5 is the longest update I've worked on so far. I think it's going to be the largest ever. I won't make it a trend for each subsequent update to be longer than the last though. It's a slippery slope I want to avoid. V5 is an exception for reasons you'll see when it drops.
- A very heavy focus is being placed on Mystery Mode, while omniscient mode is rife with events this time around as well, making the workload much heavier.
No cause for concern though! My motivation to work on the game and get good quality updates out is still as high as ever!

Hi. I have a few things to say and ask. You and to the thread in general.
so, 1st, the writing is superb. its painstakingly so real it almost wants me to just quit the game. i just wanted naked girls cheating but here i am inbetween the dialogues losing myself for a while just ruminating about my life. these dont feel like characters but like people, realer than real people because we are constantly getting to know whats going inside their head and what they do when nobody sees atleast those they dont want to see. i dont like the graphics, the men all look like 14 year old boys with beard. the dick sizes are too long. everybody is hot, rich and full of charm so that makes it less believable but it is what it is. but i cant really give a shit about these things because just like marissa i dont want to play this because it feels so hurtful to see good people who only want the best for others to get hurt by the same people.... but at the same time i cant look away and i dont know why and i dont want to miss it.
2nd, this was a long read. almost 10 hours in my pace and given its very less on the action side i used this

given the slow and almost always lost in thoughts vibe of the game it matched perfectly. solid recommendation who are like me who want some music to cope.
3rd, i just dont get ntr. personal confession, maybe too much, but whatever. this genre became my thing because i accidentally fumbled onto the film unfaithful when i was like 8 years old and it did something to my brain that still to this day, a married or committed woman flirting and cheating is the hottest thing to me. but i have never seen that film from richard gere's perspective. diana lane was so impactful that i felt her thrills, shame and guilt but also initially rooting for her to go get the d. cheating games on this forum or just porn in general just dont encompass that. its hot, its wrong, but its serious not something so lame you often come across on this site and just porn generally. the only space where i found that niche, was ntr. it had that things that i previously mentioned but for some reason they always never really come from the fmc perspective only and just make it about how they see it. they always make sure we see what the mmc sees. actually like 90% only how the mmc sees it. so i really dont understand this. why? when we sit down to watch an unfaithful women, why do games made by mostly men, for men, show how sad a man feels in all of this when it could be just an after thought or atleast something that cannot be shown extensively?
i am probably rambling stupid, but as someone who likes the cheating genre, who wants to see committed woman be corrupted why do makers focus heavily on how the boyfriend feels in all of this? like, the gf feels shit, the guy feels shit and i feel shit ughhhh. i just wanna see women conflicted corrupted and break but seeing it happen in a way where the good hardworking boyfriend suffers and the perfect girlfriend suffers and all of this to men that are awful manipulative pieces of shit just makes me go brrrrrr. unfaithful had a dude that was smart, handsome caring and made her desirable. and her husband wasnt exactly that and she got done. here, given the long distance, isnt that just naturally enough to see marissa missing intimacy and having good looking dudes with good intentions and chemisty just happens there. instead why do these men and women like flora have to be so scummy and vile human beings who make it a point to shame and insult the boyfriend who is just a good dude. i guess, what i am just asking is, why do some people intentionally want to hurt others over and above than it already needs to be. i just dont get ntr. as fans of ntr and a creator of ntr game i want to know what is it about ntr that makes you feel good? not in a judgy way. i just want to know. like genuinely. obviously this is your creation and you can write,make whatever you want but does him feeling worried and sad, does it turn you on more? like for example, nothing happens in the heat of the moment in this game. it shouldnt as well because jeremy unlike regular stories is awesome and simply just far away. but before every intimate moment there is this longstanding feeling of pre act guilt and pre act shame run over these characters it makes the hot moment that comes after actually terrible. and those girls as someone you want to empathise with because when you see them struggle and ponder you cant not do, but at the same time also angrily shout at because i am a man first and i feel even more terrible for jeremy. i dont know man. maybe its not that deep and i am just depressed and i am seeing too much into it. i mean, this guy's got issues. am i right or what????

I hope this "twist" is at the end of the update, the cliffhanger so to speak - as Marissa doing (instead of just watching) anything sexual with Justin would be too soon in V5, no matter how many days it covers. Don't make her a turbo-slut now that she's embraced living "in the present".
I've got the day off work today, and reading your post I realized I never really sat down and asked myself those questions. I've got some time and I feel like yapping so might as well dive off the deep end with a long response no one really asked for lol

Even if he asks Bonnie to investigate what’s happening with his girlfriend, Bonnie might know the truth but choose to exploit Marissa’s situation , or simply be too corrupt to offer him any real help.That would be perfect NTR until the end

First of all, thank you for the detailed response and definitely answered a lot of my questions. but the main thing i was wondering was not exactly those. english not being my first language and me being slightly overwhelmed, i probably didnt convey what i exactly in mind. anyway here goes,
1st, as you said, i am lik 99.99% in the same boat as you. its about corruption, its about stake, fall from grace and when you say, more into corruption than into ntr and ntr is the perfect vessel for it... perfect. that is precisely what i was trying to say. so i get all of that. although, my question wasnt why marissa should have a boyfriend here or why should he be perfect but more in line with why in game characters, i mean the boys of our game, laugh at him or mock him instead of empathising or at the very least do like, it is what it is with what they are doing. i would understand if for example, nick being smug about when eventually he makes jeremy a cuck and actively gets pleasure from it because he seem to have stolen all the fame in the office and is very clearly not his vibe, infact he is like everything opposite of what nick is. but with our other boys, or just ntr in general people dont even know who jeremy is or what kinda person he is. so what makes them harbour ill feelings towards him that they take pleasure from his pain. LIKE the actual players, i have seen comments on this thread and others of this genre like, "cuck that bitch" or " i cant wait to see the girl kiss the mc after swallowing the bull's cum." do you know what i mean? we can all agree that jeremy is a good person, right? so what makes in game characters and players wanting to make him feel pain? i cant wrap my head around this. thats what i wanted to know. they can fulfill their desires and also acknowledge that this guy is so innocent and getting betrayed and feel for him a little bad for him, instead calling him pathetic. so yeah, thats what i meant when i said, why do men in these genre and players, intentionally want to shame and have hatred for our main character and actively take pleasure in it.
2nd, you responded to most things that i asked. but i dont know, this one i didnt see one or didnt get it from your answer. why do the boys in this genre and especially in dissonance including flora are internally bad people. you know? like sure they just wanna fuck and satisfy their desires. but why is it different from what marissa feels towards flora at this point where she is a good person but just has a sexual awakening and because of her situation and her environment she is just constantly tested and she fails. because she cannot beat it or maybe she doesnt want to. why do all of these characters scheme and manipulate and are actually malicious in these relationships but also just in general. and here is the most important question, they can be like that because they are characters in a game there are probably people like that in real world and thats probably the story you want to tell, but why do players like it? does that mean people in this side of the internet like and enjoy, when the girl gets corrupted by an awful individual who is basically scum? i would get it, if the characters know it. but here, the boys all act like good people to the girls in front of them and the girls believe it and the boys just secretly talk amongst themselves that they are evil. i mean it doesnt make sense because at the end of the corruption remains the same right, the girls fell for a good guy, who were polite, respectful of them and their boundaries. so it doesnt make sense for me personally why the players would like our girls to fall for a secretly bad fella who is pretty much a good guy because actions are what counts and the actions the girls see is basically great guy behaviour only. so yeah word vomit indeed. i dont know what the fuck is this even i am trying to understand. maybe its just porn and it just vibes to the sadistic sides of some to see the good people suffer and agonize. but maybe, just maybe not, because you have great dialogue where characters psycho analyze themselves so much its kinda like being at a class lol. thats why, even though i had these questions in this genre well over a year now, i have never asked it on this forum. i thought you would respond because it felt like you are the person that would actually like fan interactions and deep thoughts. and you did. so here i am hoping you would again lol.
anyway, final words, in the fifth video call, when i unpacked the images i found renders that werent in the game. so i checked the script and yes, there were gaps.
