Wow, Congratz to Mr. Glephy, one of the best hentai games I've played in recent times. I wish I had discovered it sooner. I highly recommend it. The slow build-up NTR is incredible nothing happens too fast, and the dialogues are very well written. I really liked the dynamic between Lloyd and Adrianna, it's very good.
I have a few questions. If anyone who has been following the game/dev updates for a long time can answer them, I'd appreciate it.
1. Aren't we going to get a full POV of these scenes in future updates? They're possible the best scenes and yet we only have access to these few images. We only have one full POV scene of Adrianna actually fucking Lloyd.
2. Will we see more scenes with Adrianna and Lloyd in the future? I think it's been about 30-40 days in the game without any scenes of her, which makes sense given the vacation storyline, but I thought he would reappear.
3. Has Gemma changed her hair a little? It looks different. I really liked the bangs she used to have, but I think it was just something in the last few scenes.
Also i love her BJ/Deepthroat cumplay(?) scenes really good.

Thank you for clearing this up before I started. I wish more developers would be clear about this when they release their products.
Should you ever plan a game with player choices, I'd love to try it. In the meantime, I can see this won't be for me so I'll wish you the best of luck with your project.

Hey friends, just wanted your thoughts on the game if you have some time to spare. I'm as vanilla as it gets when it comes to avn world where my fav genre is harem and romance.
Now with the intro out of the way, wanted to know what can I expect from this piece? I have never played NTR before and honestly don't understand all the differences people keep arguing about. I wanted to know what the game will make me feel. Am I seeing the LI be with other guys or what is happening?
I play for the story so I don't mind lack of h scenes but I do self insert myself in MC for immersion.
The raving reviews I read have seriously made me consider this in my backlog so wanted your opinion.

I have to agree with Glephy here. The Lloyd arc helped us understand who Adrianna was as a person (selfish & immature enough to the point she will do stupid things in pursuit of self-satisfaction), so seeing Lloyd again is pointless. Someone new, someone who could potentially be an even bigger risk (for Adrianna to cheat on Kaiden with) is probably best for the story.
Obviously, my vote goes to Adrianna x Marissa (having your sister/brother "steal" your girlfriend?
)Dissonance is the exact opposite from your typical harem or romance game; the name of the game here is NTR, which stands for Netorare - a Japanese term for stories that deal with themes of romantic betrayal & sexual infidelity. NTR in its core focuses on the POV and feelings of the person suffering (being cheated on by their wife/girlfriend, or witnessing the corruption of a family member) said betrayal, unable to stop or fix the situation. These stories tend to culminate in the MC's complete mental breakdown from being humiliated, falling into depression from "letting" things reach the point of no return, and ultimately, focuses around negative outcomes of infidelity.
Talking specifically about Dissonance, you play as Jeremy - a man working hard overseas to save up enough money, and eventually (after 1 year of long distance relationship) reunite with his girlfriend Marissa, after which the two can finally begin their Happily Ever After.
You also experience his relationship with his "immature" younger sister Adrianna, who keeps butting heads with her girlfriend Kaiden; as well as his friendship with Gemma, a girl who not-so-secretly harbors deeper feelings for Jeremy.
Dissonance is the story of how flawed people are, and just how irrational people in a relationship can behave.
The name refers to the psychological phenomenon called Cognitive Dissonance - a person's ability to rationalize their uncharacteristic actions as normal, or just downplay their severity & impact on others.
I agree with the whole adriana and lloyd situation. There wasn't really anything solid inbetween them. She was angry and confused and in vacation where her gf is working. And lloyd was as unintersting as he can be, straight up telling her he just wants to get into her pants, several times. It's a more one night stand-esque dynamic between the two rather a proper affair, I think. Which is why it wasn't really as effective as marissa's arc imo. Unlike Marissa, adi isn't really balls deep into the relationship where she is swept away by someone rather that situation where lloyd wasn't desperate but kinda was and adi was corrupted but kinda really wasn't. I mean glephy has already set it up that way right? Gemma's got a thing for marissa as well no? Not as evident as adi but I think it's going to be at some point. I thought of a situation where jeremy and kaiden finding out but then connect somehow, fall in love, fuck like rabbits, get married and completely forget marissa and adi and live happily ever after ( i just don't like good people getting hurt) but then realised what genre this is and glephy is too serious a writer for that la la land ending. Unfortunately.
cuz I would have had it both. To get to see our girls get corrupted and cheat away and go gung ho (bad pun intended) but also see Jeremy and kaiden happy after the inevitable heartbreaks and maybe a post credit "this is cinema" scene of them two sending pictures in bed to adi and marissa just to spite them as revenge and also them finding out couple pictures of jeremy and kaiden getting married, having a kid, yada yada yada and being furious. Sigh, one can only dream. Whatcha say, Glephy ? This ending has cheating, ntr and humiliation as well, no?(Pleading with sad eyes)

Frankly, I didn't notice any setup with Gemma x Marissa. Only Adrianna x Marissa was foreshadowed heavily.
And I get it, people are tired of seeing Lesbian NTR, but Glephy is kinda "at fault" for that one, seeing how 1.5/3 of the female cast is at least bisexual

At the same time, Adrianna seducing Marissa is another proper NTR event, whereas watching Adrianna cheating on her girlfriend with some random guy is nice, but not really NTR if we're being honest (certainly has less impact than if she were to attempt sleeping with her brother's girlfriend). Gemma being to busy bouncing on Trevor's dick to hang out with her friends is good, but also not as exciting (as she is just their friend, not a family member or anything).It's only Marissa and Adrianna that offer any substantial NTR, and that kinda implies more lesbo action down the line (something Glephy acknowledged would get less frequent as we get further into the story, but not removed altogether).

Dev makes a progress update very Sunday, relax. Today's update will even feature a fresh batch of previews (finally).
And don't expect V5 before February at earliest; Glephy said that he's no longer concerned with finishing the game on a rigorous schedule, but instead focusing on ending the episodes on natural points in the story (between arcs or important moments). Pure speculation, but V5 will probably end with Marissa taking "the next step" with Justin as a cliffhanger.

It might be a while before it happens... but my most anticipated thing is Trevor x Marissa, it has the makings of a really satisfying tension between Marissa’s initial scepticism and Trevor’s eventual redemption creates drama, vulnerability, and emotional payoff. Trevor’s “turning the tables” moment.... so it feels earned and powerful.. I don't want him using Justin to achieve that goal, Trevor finding his own way to Marissa would be best moment...
Good point but I didn't mean it that way. The justin x trevor meetup was just about the orgy. I meant more as, trevor is now officially in the good books of gemma and they hangout. Marissa and Gemma are close. And they hangout as well. You can see a natural hangout sesh here where they play some stupid ass cliche drinking game or something and all of a sudden they are just completely enjoying each other's company and there is no inhibiton for obvious reasons now that marissa is ho-maxxing. Marissa might even be the reason justin and trevor actually meet irl. Very excited given we are not even 1/4th of the planned duration of the game. There are so many things to fiddle around and it would all fit in very naturally cause obviously this dev can write. And given the slow build up, any payoff will be extremely rewarding. Just wish he would release more often. But ofcourse i am just grateful this exists.
