I wanted to give this a whirl but the lack of instantaneous text had already driven me nuts before Day 1 began... and with the keybind changes (why even mess with that) even if you use unren to unlock the console you can't actually access it to then try fiddling with bits to get it to be instant. Lipsync isn't something I'd notice and I mute all games at the start anyhoo so sound effects aren't something I'd be bothered by either.
So what sort of corruption does this game feature? Is it just unlocking more sex scenes are are there some actual changes to the characters?
All male characters in this game looks like slighty morphed Lee Van Cliff.

I don't normally enjoy 2DCG games, but wow this was great! The visuals, the setting, the music, the overall atmosphere, it was all so much better than the usual content we get on here. I've only done one playthrough so far, but I definitely want to try it again to see what I missed. I haven't seen the jungle lady yet and the episode ended rather abruptly for me, so I don't know if I just didn't follow the right path or if it was supposed to happen like that. Either way, I'm looking forward to the next update.
This game is so messed up.. and the damn thing has problem saving game...
Too many fucking choices in game and can't tell what is correct or not as there is no damn hints in game at all...
Give flowers to doctor?
Give flowers to Gardner?
Give flowers to the lady?
Unlock the prison?
Keep candle?
Return candle and get the Rosary?
Why the fuck does this game has so many different choices to the point I think what we do is going to fuck the entire game for us making a single wrong damn decision...
Why do I want to play a game where early on in the game I may have ruined the entire game in the very beginning and may need to start over. The game is fucking broken on day 3 as you can't reach sunset to go meet the redhead girl.

So when you go to the store to buy a chocolate and see they're offering 10 types of chocolates, do you start shouting at the seller how their store is broken and that you don't know which chocolate to buy?
You do know you can SAVE right? Have you never played a VN? Save before choices and then skip read text until the next one
Have you just now realized that games are an interactive medium you genius?
The game is slow as molasses to play through once.. so what if you progress and find you need to have the rosary? Your stuck starting over.. it's not like a VN where you can just skip through it and be back there in just a few minutes. If your going to make so many different choices you need to make sure there is no way to fail later. Give some hints in the game system. I can see already 3 mistakes that could lead to your demise in the beginning of the game so far.
Who do you give flower to how is it going to effect you later in the game? Doctor, lady, or gardner?
Candle since it appears we are going to be up against werewolves are we going to need that rosary or candle to see in the dark?
Most games give you some sort of hint but there is no hint. Do we need to follow the damn quests to a T and not diverse? In other words do we make sure we only give the flower to the gardner?
I don't want to play a game that takes 30+ minutes to do a single day than get to day 5 to find out that the choice was wrong and now I'm screwed with no way to progress.. I am already afraid that happened at day 3 as the sunset never arrives to meet the red head.. and I am in no way inclined to repeat everything again from a simple mistake when it takes so long to repeat it.

But that IS the actual game though!? You choose the story path or character you are most interested in, save at crucial points that might block you from progressing and re-load if you don't get the wanted outcome. Also the skip dialog feature is there for exactly that reason. Of course you don't know what the correct item to use or dialog option to pick in every situation is, that's how most visual novels work. And that's the fun part, besides the porn which is the reward for playing and "beating" the game so to say.
Honestly I think you just don't like to play classic visual novels. Either try to use the save and skip dialog features, download a walkthrough /completed save file or, if that is still too much work... just straight up watch anime hentai.
No I play VN often but like I stated when you replay or play another route you can fast skip it so fast that 30 minutes can be gone through in just a matter of 5-10 minutes. The game is slow as molasses for replay since you can't just skip the repeat scenes and have to manually click to go through it. The skip text often stops when you say continue after transitions. It takes way too long to replay.. this is no damn VN.. a VN skip back to where you was super fast and continue on but this game is definitely no VN.
You need to have a bit more faith in the game to feel okay with it, the goal isn't that you have to restart the game because of a bad choice, and what it does is slightly hinted when using the item (could put the redhead in trouble, so if you like her, don't do it.). For the flower it's the same, you know what's up if you attempt it and it's hinted a lot throughout doing the quest.
Then it's a mystery game with dark themes so it enhances the atmosphere if we don't provide you always with the full details, however, we pay attention so that the hints are provided but in a subtle way, and even then no choices will make you have to necessarily restart the game (except if you wanted to go for a girl but you missed the choices leading to her path but that's something else).
It's certainly not as easy to play as a classic VN, this is a different type of game, and it might not be for you (that's not for me to judge) but I hope the explanations make sense and you have more faith in how the game works.

I don’t want to get in the way of this talk but I’ll do it anyway (lol sorry).
This game at least for me it’s more closer to one of the old point and click adventure games than a vn.
It has still some typical elements of a vn, but through all the game, it gave me a sense of involvement that I had with games like “Monkey island” or “I don’t have a mouth and I must scream”, and so are the choices.
As Redikal said it’s pretty obvious what are the pros and cons of certain choices (like the candle one), but I assure that the game is not made against the player.
It's too slow = not a "Visual Novel"... doesn't make sense. Would you would kindly give me your personal definition of "Visual Novel" please?
