News about R10 - Delay...
You must be registered to see the links
Hello everyone,
I was really hoping we'd get there on time, but I've had to face up to the fact that it's impossible to get the R10 out this month. It's very close, but I need a few more days to finish everything, so I've moved the ETA to December 10. This should give us the time to finish everything and not rush the polishing phase.
I'm very embarrassed by this situation, so I'll be issuing a refund in case you have pledged to play the update this month. Send me a private message and I'll help with it.
Again my apologies, and see you soon for the release.
Don't jinx usCheck out some previous posts. There are quoted posts from Patreon (by me and by Qtrix) that the premiere has been postponed to December 10. Unless, of course, the creators delay the premiere again by a few weeks, and my gut tells me that this will be the case.
It's more the latter.Too lazy to read posts at the moment.. The art looked great, however I can't tell by looking at the screenshot whether the game has combat mechanic with hp,stats,etc.. or it's like point-and-click adventure horror?
that's generally the obscure smut game experience, yeah. i wanna believe but...Inb4 the update is delayed all the way to Christmas, bet
It shouldn't come as a surprise, "devs" always have a horrendous work ethic, 6 months for what are generally small updates is such a common thing in this space. Like sure if you're the person creating everything yourself I'd understand that it takes time but when you hire people to create art and etc then the updates shouldn't take this long. From the discord
i hate to be a jackass, i really do. but i just can't imagine what time gets spent into. the writing's great and all but ultimately it's not shakespeare. and for the coding... it's a VN and you're using an engine for that anyway. It shouldn't come as a surprise, "devs" always have a horrendous work ethic, 6 months for what are generally small updates is such a common thing in this space. Sometimes from what I have observed the devs simply put too much on their plate for what they had considered as a "feasible" enough of a workload for the incoming update. Some devs just need to better pace themselves for the update and reassign non-essential updates for the next sprint in the cycle.i hate to be a jackass, i really do. but i just can't imagine what time gets spent into. the writing's great and all but ultimately it's not shakespeare. and for the coding... it's a VN and you're using an engine for that anyway.
i can only imagine man's getting wasted on the daily and then editing a single huge script file with 1000 functions that make no sense and everything is hard coded and stuff. otherwise i'm just like... how?
