The problem is, you're giving a chance to the wrong person. If you like Divine Arms, then the person you should support is Chris Armin and not ViperV.Okay guys, time to be the devil's advocate...and it comes from the guy that was fuming about this project and is doing the same with Project Onyx from Eromancer
I want to give this a chance. There was a serious mismanagement in the past that costed this project...a lot. Not just money or rep but also time. It is essentially a full circle restart which is why I want to believe in it and ViperV. He admitted to being wrong and kinda went back to what worked back then.
I don't know why else I want to have a faith in it. I was among those that were pissed the most back in 2018? 2019? Maybe I cooled down a little? Anyway, I have a soft spot for the main character and the art style (I don't mean the ChrisArmin stuff but the original one as well which is still a good piece of jerk).
Will I support it again? Not. yet.
I have yet to see something that convinces me this time it's going to be different and there is a work ethic of some kind (it's on the good way I guess).
Till then, I would wait with harsh judgement since there's not much to judge in the first place (remember, we are back at the tech demo).
they are not in this versionFor the v2.35, how can I pass the first level or how can I access the H scenes? I didn't play this version and I don't really know the changes, exept the new graphics and gameplay.
I literally told you what I meant by animations. The problem is, you're giving a chance to the wrong person. If you like Divine Arms, then the person you should support is Chris Armin and not ViperV.
Chris Armin is the artist who made all the original animations that gave Divine Arms its success, and he has left 5+ years ago, there has not been any new lewd content since then, and there will never be, because ViperV can not replicate his art. (If you like ViperV's other games, then fair, but I think 90% people who followed this game were for the animations)
Before Chris, there was a slime animation that you can even see in the screens of the first post. It was before Armin. Basically the first demo ever.(I don't mean the ChrisArmin stuff but the original one as well which is still a good piece of jerk).
The next problem is that Chris Armin left NSFW animation last year. They won't do any NSFW content anymore. The problem is, you're giving a chance to the wrong person. If you like Divine Arms, then the person you should support is Chris Armin and not ViperV.

And another one that can't read xDSome people will never learn.
Patreon is not at fault here by itself. It is a "victim" (not really but I lack a better word for it) of what is a typical behaviour of credit card companies.no sexy content thanks to Patreon (aka: Christians being prudes and not allowing anyone to have fun).
Come on guys! Jason Voorhees deserves another chance! And another one that can't read xD
Giving a chance =/= support.
how is he gonna animate scenes? View attachment 1715028309901.webpLets not waste time needlessly typing about the past, this project is older than the site itself and came to a stand still years ago.
Think of this as a new project. Personally, this is what I'll do for this reset to give it a chance:
I'll check it in a few months. If I see at least 3-6 updates in that time with a decent chunk of progress (like any other successful project on this site). I'll believe it's an honest re-attempt. If not, oh well, business as usual I guess. Society will fall before it finishes at it's old pace.
So can we not flame it about it's past and needlessly fill up page upon page of debating the past and just wait a few weeks before doing so?
Good luck on your re-attempt. I hope you have a timeline for progress in mind this time dev.
Don't know, going to wait a few weeks and see what develops, I don't know what the animation will look like, it's possible I might not like it. No loss, plenty of stuff on the site. Sorry you contributed in the past with no pay-off. That sucks.how is he gonna animate scenes? View attachment 3610119
dont get me wrong i would like to see this finished as i typed some money on their patreon years ago, but since animator is gone and now we leaped in AI stuff i think it would be for the best to try make AI CG and delete those scenes that are made to have consistency in game or maybe go hire derpixon, she was starting around that time and her style is similar
also it will be hard to build up ur base again after so much attempts people dont have infinite wallets and patience you know
