I'm actually paying for the lore and gameplay. To me, the gallery is like the postcredit scenes of a movie, missing it is sad but I wouldn't be bothered if it happened.
But at least I don't skip it outright so that's better than most games that I played. Probably the only NSFW game I ever played where I consider the scene a *positive* feature.
Well, technically the patreon statement is true, because after my 50$ (+21% VAT) pledge, I moved to Subscribestar. Patreon is an awful platform and I don't get why people insist on supporting NSFW through a platform that is banning NSFW.
(If we want to split hairs, it's no longer a flash game either)
1) A lot of new animations were posted to supporters this year. Not ViperV's fault if Patreon forced him to delete the old content... so if anything, we now get more NSFW content than during the previous cycles.
2) I wouldn't say "almost". There's not a lot of ways to please the supporters who want the actual game : either stop everything and f**k supporters, or continue funding to make progress... or make the game in flash, something that doesn't run anymore.

2.4 is out and apparently there's lewd scene in it if anyone want to upload it here
2.4b now exists with a critical bugfix for people with powerful monitors.
However, that branch is still "not polished enough" for public use outside basic testing, so people who want a fun build should probably stick with the old Flash builds for now.

Also, his idea of a joke is more of a joke than anything considering he still has over 700 patrons, so really he is getting more money each month than if he got a dollar whenever someone was disappointed with the development with the game.

But somebody supporting on Patreon or Subscribestar get access to news about the development, so those people should KNOW there's one room with Goombrios before even asking.
(Granted, some info was maybe exclusive to Discord to avoid making non-decisive dev posts.)
Also, the thing he couldn't actually say on Patreon is that most people asking that on Discord didn't pay to access the builds, and as such launched the debug build without having any info about the current state.

Some people expect a working game, others more scenes, some inbetween expect a gallery, and outside the game some like me expect a clarification about supporter perks, as they are different between the old Patreon or the new Subscribestar... lots of stuff to do besides the whole godot update thinghy.

Are the Game over scenes that are not in the gallery available somewhere or did they just not get made before it got abandoned?
Hmmm... I recall some planned game overs were on Patreon years ago, but i don't think any was ever completed?

It's in a weird state...because we are talking about multiple different iterations.
First one is semi-done since 2020? Four enemies, each has two scenes.
Current one is a second or third attempt to "restart" the process with different mechanics in mind.

Multiple different iterations..? What the? I checked the patreon and it looks like the last public piece of information was released last month unless it meant march of last year and not this year.

Hard to explain unless you check previous versions. To put it simply, project was restarted a few times and birthed a few spin-offs that also are somewhere in the middle of nowhere as of now.
