"these hands are rated E for everyone if she don't shut up for 6 seconds" This and the rather self aware comment from the girl about being side characters that'll die to show the main characters the seriousness of the situation, just those two screenshots show me that this will be a game whose humor I'll thoroughly enjoy, a good or goodish story that brings me to care about the characters would only be icing on the cake. The class evolution system I saw mention of in other comments also sounds quite interesting, have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the effort it looks like was put into this game considering that it's essentially a porn game, there have been some quality ones in the past but such ones are a bit rare sometimes depending on what you're looking for. I look forward to trying this particular game out

There are definitely more dilemmas like that to come. Badon is the start of being able to affect the world in various ways. I don't plan for the game to go full Madoka/40k grimdark, but the setting can get pretty shitty.
Hehe. On the art, yeah, Paris was about the closest I could find. Someday we'll get drawn art for backgrounds, but it was a really nice pic!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the humor so far, hope the rest of the game lives up to your ideals! It was definitely inspired by CoC 1, I wanted to try to balance porn, plot, and an RPG system to where all of them would be enjoyable.
As of right now, 3 characters have full sprites with expressions (Sam, Metatron, Ashley), 1 has an H scene art but no sprite (Sarah), and 3 don't have art (Aspasia, Maya, Ina).
Angels are a mix of Jewish (ex. Metatron) and Christian mythology. Overall, there's a mix of Kabbalah, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, Greek, and Sumerian/Babylonian mythology or concepts as the main things you run into.
Down the road, there will be less setting-wide content based on Norse/Celtic, Japanese, and Atlantis mythology, and some others I don't want to go into now.
There may be some stuff based on classical literature, but it's not a major focus.

I realize you're joking, but to answer seriously;
Personally, I'd love to do that too, but there really aren't that many gods in the game, just references and concepts from mythologies for most of the ones listed. A mesoamerican-inspired area down the road would be cool, but that's filed under the 'cool stuff to maybe do in a few years if I haven't alt-f4'd myself or burned out on the game by then' section.
Not nearly enough cool indian and mesoamerican mythology in fantasy settings in general, imo.

This is little bit of a hidden gem, took me a while to actually try this game out and boy do I not regret it!

No kidding - online communication lacks a lot of the tells of normal interaction. I just try to assume the best, and it usually works out. As for the game, I'll definitely be at this for a while haha. Best of luck to you as well!

2382dudubes As per the tags, this is a text-based game. The sex scenes may eventually get some art as well when I have more funding, but they will always be primarily text-based. There's one with art ATM, but people made it clear they wanted sprites more so I've been prioritizing those instead.
It's unfortunate the writing didn't do it for you, but I do want to thank you for the constructive criticism in general. The UI in particular could definitely use work. Background art relies on me being able to afford to commission a lot of them, so I can't promise much there in the near future.

I don't know if this is constructive feedback, but as a new player two things make me drop the game quickly. First is the immaturity of the dialogue with Sam, I find them very boring. Second that this is an RPG but their is no character creation. One reason, I donwladed the game was the screenshot with multiple stats. There are too few good RPG with stats on this site, so I wanted to try this game. But with zero choice, it doesn't feel good to level up.
Maybe the game doesn't want to overhelm the player at start, but I feel like as a text-only game, the playerbase should be more mature than for other games. That's just my two cents' worth.

If you don't like Sam, that's fine, you can ignore them after about 10 minutes in the game. They are an immature and overconfident teenager, very much shown to be flawed.
On stats, about... 15-20 min into the game you get much more in-depth stat customization and the ability to learn more traits, abilities, etc. Not sure if you got to that point. I would like to improve the initial customization and give it a MUCH better UI down the road, but tying the starting stats into your chosen backstory fragments seemed natural as a start.
Yeee BUDDY. Celica art looking great, will hopefully be in the next update which will... HOPEFULLY be by Saturday, we'll see, maybe early next week. Starting to do some previews on discord or paywalltreon, but let's be honest here, she's probably 4-6 days away, I just want people to be as hype as me LOL.
Changelog;
- Celica now has art, courtesy of Mistimagi! She has 40 something expressions and a few layers of clothing, though some of the uhhh...less wholesome options aren't available ingame. YET.
- Ashley's Nether training is complete, with parts 2 and 3. That means that Nether magic is finally available to the player, with 8 abilities (and various masteries). Expect a lot of debuffs, statuses, and weird mechanics, with good firepower.
- Ashley got a 4 trust scene as well, with some philosophy to discuss.
- Ashley sex battle now exists, because this is the second Ashley-focused update in a row apparently lmao. I swear she's not the creator's pet.
- Celica got a 4 affection scene that pushes your relationship with her forward a bit, and maaaay lead to... places... in the near-ish future.
- Metatron got a 6-trust scene that gives some character development and starts to explain her martial art. More importantly, it also gives her sleeveless art for a bit. THEM GUNS.
- Various engine improvements; now most status effects can scale, the status effect window now has better descriptions and some new icons, lewd battles can now have statuses, etc.
