I'm not sure I follow completely, but finding a decent balance between femdom and maledom is my goal. Some scenes, like Metatron's first time, have the MC completely in control. I don't intend to make everything femdom, but I like femdom and it makes sense for some characters and scenes, so there'll be a decent amount of it.

I will say one thing though; I want to make an adult game that's actually fun, rather than a porn game. It's probably not the smartest decision, but I want "playing for the story" to be more than a meme; to make the characters and combat and plot to be interesting enough that there's a reason to play it even if you don't like the lewder stuff.
Well gameplay wise I love the game and now I'm looking forward to the Metatron scene.

My mistake, I thought I saw something in the direction of more femdom heavy content, I'm sorry.

An adult game that is actually fun is personally something that I enjoy more than a game that is just a couple of CGs and end, if I don't like the adult part of it however it's basically just a normal game with scenes in it that I don't enjoy. I mean I played MGQ but just never lost or reloaded if I made a mistake. It was a good game, just not in the adult way for me. With there being a balance for Male and Femdom this game might just become one of my favorites.

IIRC you just need 8 or 10 Affection with Metatron to unlock it, it's one of the few that has a CG as well!

No need to apologize, I don't mind people sharing their desires and preferences. I do consider feedback heavily, that's why I actually post here to respond. I can't and won't remake the game for people, but I like making people happy where I can.

Thanks for sharing the positive feedback as well! That's always nice to read, not only for my ego but just because of what I said earlier. Knowing people enjoy it is nice, yanno?

And feel free to leave the previous post up.

To choose a element at the beginning, you have to invest 5 points into magic, but after you choose it, you can just respec and put the points anywhere and keep the element. (Which was/is quite handy for my Greatsword character) Yet it's an exploit I would say. So maybe fix it or give everyone access to a starting element?

Also when do we get a earth trainer? I don't think there is anyway besides the start to learn earth magic, which is a shame, I do like the buffs. Maybe add a stick or rock with goggle eyes with the name Placè Hol'da or something which could unlock earth magic.

Also wasn't there a arm pit scene with Ash or did I imagine that? The question is mostly for my sanity. I'm also a bit surprised that we have no scene with a bit of spanking for Ash. She is naughty enough to receive some loving slaps to the butt. Yet it would probably make things worse.

1: Fixed.

2: Alicia, in Badon. Art done and previewed, scenes... not until 0.24 I suspect. I thought I'd have her ingame a while ago, but actually finishing Badon ended up taking a lot longer than I expected.

3. Maya has an armpit scene, Ashley doesn't, may change in future idk. I'm trying to branch out a little more with scenes now that I have artists to help with inspiration and views, no promises on anything specific but there should be more than cowgirl, blowjobs, and missionary in the future lol.

Probably a royally stupid question but since I haven't played since Version 5, can you romance all the characters without consequences or will it turn into a Witcher III where you get screwed over? lol

No worries. I don't intend to do any "haha gotcha" moments. Right now no one really reacts to that behavior, over time more reactions will happen; some may be willing to share, others may not be as enthusiastic.

11/13 Weekly Update
Another great week of writing, a bit over 13,000 words - probably about an hour of reading? Celica and Maya each got a sizable scene, while Sarah and Sam got two scenes apiece. I'm especially proud of Sarah's new affection scene; feels like her bond with MC is finally starting to click.

Art-wise, Amnelis and Maya CGs are both coming along very well thanks to the phenomenal artists putting in such hard work - I'm lucky to work with both of them!

0.23 Beta 2 is out on Patreon as well, containing this week's progress, as well as more (mostly lewd) previews of butterfly girl, Amnelis, and Maya CGs.

Ah, I see. Gotta admit. I only ever tried out the mod with the Night Gaunt and the moaning Forest. Just the stuff that specifically caught my eye. But if the dev's got experience with MGD I really gotta get to this soon. Good thing it is weekend soon.

Wow, uh, this is pretty good.
I just spent 3 hours absolutely glued to my screen. The comedy is spot on as well.
Only immediate suggestion that comes to mind is to have...less energetic music when creating the character. It was a tad grating.
I feel like you could cut down on the detail in some places like when describing the palace but if that is your style I am totally cool with it. The characters seem well thought-out as well, though I haven't yet gotten past coming back to the village and waking up the next day.
I spend a bit too much time calculating the mean damage value of spells...
Personally I am not a big fan of rpg systems with dump stats but that's again a design decision that was well-considered and I don't mind too much.
There could have been a few more uses of the stats outside of direct combat.
Maybe when approaching the...uh Nether tentacle thing? (I am not good with names, sorry) it could have attacked the mc and the companion and stats could have been checked to avoid.
Magic/Insight check to get extra info on the Nether dogs and what caused them to appear. Maybe also some additional tidbits during conversations that sort of thing.

...Not sure any of this was constructive criticism but it is almost 4 am here and even without sleep my texts can be a bit hard to read.
uh...bye

Ah, and I just remembered. When creating your character scrolling up still takes you back to prior conversations which is not fun when you are almost through it and just picked the options you believe to be mathematically sound.
No big deal just a thing I noticed.

Oh, and I am assuming this is just from maintaining the buff but when on 1 mana I couldn't cast 1 mana spells.
There wasn't any clear indication this was the case so maybe you could make that a bit clearer.

Hey - thanks for commenting! I always welcome constructive criticism, as well as feedback on what's working.

It's past midnight here so I'll be fairly brief in my own responses, but;
  • Chargen music I could swap out to something else, that's not too difficult.
  • The temple got a little too verbose, for sure. I *think* before and after that generally hits a better balance, and when I get better background art for the temple I'll be able to cut down on the description as well. The game started off completely text-based, so I was stuck trying to evoke everything by word.
  • What do you mean by a dump stat?
  • Agreed there could be more checks. I seem to be really bad at thinking those up, I'm trying to slowly improve as I go but those are actually some great suggestions!
  • The scrolling thing is kinda just how Renpy do, rollback works all the time unless I manually completely disable it, and I didn't want to disable it for that section in case someone decided they wanted to go back to the previous choice (premade vs custom). I have some ideas to maybe work around that though.
  • I suspect it has to do with Python using floats, and mana spending more time as a float than an integer. I intend to, at some point, multiply all mana values by 20 (costs, regen, cap, etc) so I can make it integer-only, which will hopefully make it much clear exactly what a given number means.
...Hey, I said fairly brief, not actually brief. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the opening, and thanks again for sharing your impressions! It's really helpful to get the perspective of new players to see what I can improve.

AFAIK most people use Dump Stat to refer to those stats you ignore or subtract points from in order to max others (some people use it to mean the stat you dump all your points into, but that seems to be a misunderstanding). So if you're going, say, a strength build you completely ignore any stat that doesn't benefit the build, to min-max. Otherwise you're being inefficient. So you end up with a character that, lore-wise, can carry really heavy things but lacks the mental capacity to not only not spell their own name, but the understanding to realise other people have different names to their own. The Fallout 1 and 2 games had fun with this making low Int characters have their own plot interactions with some things, but typically it's just a gameplay-story segregation thing where you're supposed to ignore that your character should be incapable of living safely by themselves.

DnD and the like make stats have minimum values to try and represent basic capability which can help, but it's just moving the floor. You are not allowed to be a Renaissance Man. Jock or Nerd, pick one, or forever be underperforming in situations designed for min-maxed munchkins.

I encountered an error. Not sure how to report those. I copied the BB code if that helps?
Also, those fucking prequel references keep coming, haha.

This is mostly true but at this point the meaning has basically, uh, degraded?, into meaning stats you just completely ignore. At least in the communities I hang out in. But that's where the word comes from, yeah.
I was basically just referring to how I prefer systems where you have to, to some extent, care about all stats.
My current char is a pure mage so only Magic and Focus matter for offensive purposes, with for example Strength having 0 benefit. It's a design choice and there is nothing wrong with it. Just too much talking on my end.
