Therefore there must be:
- A child, but D is not a child, she is 18 years old.
- Sexual abuse, as I said above, it depends on perspective, but both are consenting adults and there is no restraint, blackmail, force, drugs or anything of the kind

Further, it can lead to:
- Traficking, prostitution or pornography, in DMD there are hints that it may lead to sharing D with others, but it seems doubtful that she'll do it for money. Naked pictures on the other hand may be consider pornography but if they are for private use between adults (F and D), then I don't think it's so bad.

I think a lot of this discussion revolves around D's age. I have to accept that she's 18 because the dev says so and there are plenty mentions of this in the context of the story (her being now independent from mom for example). On the other hand she is clearly emotionally immature like you say.

To be honest, I know plenty of people who are in fact 18+ and still make stupid decisions in general but in particular when it comes to sex and relations. Their IQ scores are also not fantastic as you may have guessed. Still they are allowed to vote, drive a car and have children...

Do you think the game would be better if there was a path in the game where F would not pursue D sexually at all? What could be the outcome of that path in the DMD universe?

I guess the most healthy way would be F getting married with Georgina while ignoring Elena and Jennifer completely (at least not more than just friends of D) and D moving in with them. That would also be quite boring...

Depends on perspective and the person reading that story.

I can tell you quite a few people here would prefer a story where the dad marries Georgina and settles down, me included.

Now, i'm not saying that's what I want to happen, I don't want direction of the game to change on our account but if we had a choice of who to pursue romantically it would be Georgina for me.

It's taken a turn for the creepy.

It's no longer a mutual thing it's a father grooming his daughter. Some people find that a turn on and that's great for them but what started out as a decent story now has a sinister edge to it.

It started out as father getting taboo feelings about his daughter and going down the "dating" route but now it's turning into a guy pushing his clueless daughter into being his fuck toy.

It's going over into more of a corruption story and that's not my thing.

There is foreplay and groping but absolutely no sex with the daughter and it doesn't look like it's going to happen within the next year either.

The next few months of updates are sorting out bugs and the career system and then chapter 2 starts but the way chapter one ended isn't going to lead to sex so that's going to take a few more updates until they are even close and then there is more foreplay to come so you'll be looking at a minimum of 10 updates before sex but that's being generous.

Imo people tend to forget about tesing being a fetish as well. I would say it's more popular than any other fetish. DMD at this point is more of a teasing game than incest. You would be a fool not to download it.
Sure, you will have blue balls if all you crave is the daughter fucking, but there are other outlets for the father in this game.
Also there is many fap worthy moments with the daughter herself.

It is the most worthy game for download in my opinion as there really is no other with so much material and story development.

I used to love this game. Last couple of updates have left me a little sour.

The writing seems to of gone to trash, with tons of internal exposition wrangling over incest, even when they seem to have come to terms with it. Personalities of Dad and Daughter swing wildly, on one hand you get the Dad not so much seducing, but manipulating her to be a fuck toy... then you get preached at for having sexual encounters with other women via internal dialogue.

Though I know it's more workload, they should alter the Dads internal compass by the decisions the player makes. Also pacing is off. It's gone to formulaic do 2-3 activities, then what new sex thing to do in the evening. (this started about 0.7)

The worst offenders where last update. I was looking forward to the Daughter/Emily exploration of Daughters sexuality in what she would consider a 'safe' enviroment... then bang... Father gives first orgasm as he can now suddenly finger to please the masses.

Lucas' arrest, whilst long overdue. He screams about their incestuous relationship, the cops call him a liar blah blah. But his proclomations have absolutely ZERO impact on the story. The Daughter or the Father are not concerned, not worried they should be more careful. If anything it should of knocked Daughter back a bit with what they are doing and really take stock (which would lead to her recommitting.)

There is other stuff to. But the game seems to have gone from promising erotic visual novel to wank fantasy fulfilment. Might as well just have the bedroom scenes and render all different sexual tastes and have it as a fuck sim.

Have to agree that the last few updates seem a bit more 'rushed', as in a bit more formulaic. Some of the writing has gotten a bit shoddy as well. "A hand job isn't sex" being a particular offender in this sense.

I do wonder though, where people come from when they mention the 'non-corruption' bit. I thought that was one of the promises in the game (together with a pile of fetishes, some of which have disappeared after Patreon updated their ToS).

That could be done without an insane increase in workload, I think. Just e.g. make three categories of "player-personality" determined by the choices made so far in the game. One being "responsible", one "passionate", one "pervert". Or maybe a hidden number for each, so there's room for nuance/combination. Then, they can query that category and come up with specific lines for each, when the story needed it. It would obviously become much more work if they were to involve branching storylines, though. I don't think that would be needed in order to rectify the feeling of a moving moral compass.

Yeah, I'm just disapointed is all. Not to take away that visually it is really good work, and for those that like it, it probably is a solid game. It's just gone in a direction that doesn't appeal to me. I think MrDots has too many writers probably pushing in different directions, which leads to the pscyso psyche I see. I played the first part of chapter 2, and it seemed ok. Probably going to wait a few updates before I take another look at it and see where it is at.

I think to make any sort of sembelence of realism you would need to go back to the start and rewrite the whole thing. The fact of the matter is she was 8 years old when her gold digging mom skipped out of the country. What about custody laws where she was born in the dad's country it is not exactly legal to deny the father visitations like this. Further there is no way a real father would break taboos so quickly like this. And for as prudish as the daughter is it was way too quick to get to this point. As for the "plot" of needing to be 19 to leave home ok so that is what at most 10 months and a graduation away... The lawyer simply needs to draw a request to reinstate citizenship she will then sign it and send it off in a few weeks she will be cleared for a passport then on her 19th bday she can flip her mom off as she walks away. Say it was 21 all the daughter needs to do is setup going to college in her fathers country.

Now if we skew the plot into left field a bit. Put her in the situation where women don't have rights and she has a confirmed arranged marriage to the Arabian warlord's son who has plans to put her in his harem where not only would she disappear again but be under guard.

Elena is going to be either easier or harder to get out but it seems like she was born not in donutistan but in the daughters fathers country. Which she should be able to file same paperwork as daughter.
