Do games with a healthy family relationship exist?

Games where the MC's family are present, and the game doesn't feature incest - maybe a flirty sibling, but nothing beyond teasing. I know incest was a huge money maker for a while (who am I kidding, it still is, the standards are just higher), but literally every game I can find where a family member appears, they're a valid target for seduction.

Just once I'd like to see a game where your older brother acts as a wingman, or your twin sister introduces her friends who try to seduce you, rather than doing it themselves.

You could find that content in non-porn game media. A lot of it, done better than any amateur porn game ever could.
Why include characters you can't fuck into a porn game that would just frustrate the player? You could instead spend that time and effort to establish a character you can fuck which would make it a better game.

I think it is to give the player a choice... They can ignore incest or go ahead with it (or both to complete the gallery).
I have played a few games like those (Cannot remember the title, they were AAA games, as in Japanese vns), the sister character had a body, was a big part of the game but I had to actually find out through google that she was not an option... Worse of all, she was the most interesting character among them all.

Love the leading title of this thread. I have a perfectly healthy relationship with my sister, but when we were kids we used to kiss all the time. Much to the exasperation of our mom, and we didn't just keep it behind closed doors either. We'd pick each other up from school when we were a bit older, and we'd kiss then.

Not anymore, but they are happy memories. Being able to trust your sister so completely is just marvellous, and in my opinion more healthy than forcing yourself to stay away because of some bizarre medieval hangups.

But I get you. Incest isn't my kink but I do play a few games that have it but that's mainly because it's almost impossible to find games with family members that don't have incest.

The only one that comes to mind is Aien no Aselia. The MC's little sister has a bit of a crush on him but nothing ever happens. She tells him and he's all "that's nice, dear" zero fucks given (until she's sent away and then he cries ... then becomes a walking god and kills all the bad things and has a mega god daughter who kicks ass in the next game despite amnesia).

It's got so bad i've even seen people demanding incest in games that don't even have family members or where incest would look ridiculous.

Twists of my Life was the most amusing one. A couple of people kept demanding the dev made the MC's roommate into his sister but they got shot down fortunately.

Have like two ideas for the game I will work on after I am done with Occultus, one idea is a modern setting and will have parents and a sister as supporting characters but no sexy times planned with them. The other idea is a medieval fantasy setting where at most you'll get it on with a cousin (which would be pretty normal and acceptable for a medieval noble) but your Mother and Uncle will have their own little love plot where you will be match maker (they will be in-laws not blood-related).

I think the issue lies in the nature of these types of games. Some, perhaps many, will look at an adult VN/game where the MC doesn't have sex with pretty much every woman they encounter as a poor adult VN/game and therefore not give it the time of the day. Thus, many devs have their MC be a Casanova-type character who either actively seduces every woman he meets or is pursued by every woman he meets as this is an archetypal male fantasy. Even in games where the MC develops a romantic relationship with one character, he's still sewing his wild oats with any woman that comes along.

It also doesn't seem to matter who the character is or what they look like because I've seen people comment on games with a totally random character saying things like, "that coffee girl is hot, when do we get to fuck her?", as well as games that feature ugly, fat girls who aren't part of the story with comments like, "that girl is thicc, can't wait to fuck her". So I think it's pretty impossible to make a game where the MC has family members that they don't have sex with, even if they're made to look unattractive, because it's all about living out the fantasy of being a total sex-machine for a lot of people, and as such, no woman should be off limits as far as they're concerned.

In theory, the idea is perfectly fine. In reality, just how soon do you think it'll be before the game's thread is inundated with comments asking when these characters will bang? My guess? About five minutes after it's released. Not that I agree, but a lot of people seem to have the mindset that if it's in the game, you should be able to fuck it. No one is safe. Not even the family dog.

I think in Our Fate you can choose to have a non-sexual friendly relationship with your daughter(/adopted daughter depending on choice). But I haven't played that path.

That's the heart of it in my perception, the main reason why one might say there are few 'healthy' (or really just 'non-sexual') familial relationships in games - a restricted audience.
