I don't think the "horse cock" trend is exclusively being used because people want big dicks (though it's undoubtably a big factor). I can personally say, as someone who works in Daz as a hobby, and has made quite a few "sexy time" renders, I definitely prefer big dicks. Small dicks are often tedious and annoying to get to line up properly during posing, and the big dicks are just so much easier to get a good looking result out of. It's quite annoying actually. I will often have to spend 3-4 times longer posing a small dick, compared to a "horse cock".

yeah, absolutely agree. I think it's more about the modeling of asses than giant dicks though. the ass crack on all genesis versions is much deeper than it should be, so the distance dick needs to reach gets longer than real dick could ever reach so super easily. also the bad crotch topology makes it very difficult to open thighs to extreme positions to give better penetration/visibility. The only question is, what do you mean by big and tiny dicks? In my opinion, the classic 18 cm is enough to overcome anatomical problems and make everything look natural.
As a person who knows a little about both 3D and anatomy, I can say that a good-looking result cannot be achieved without using the soft-body dynamics and collision detection.
