I'm not sure what you mean by all romance scenes, but it will contain all the same path options from before. So for this update the big three scenes are with Harper, hanging out with Evaline and then shopping. That will be everything leading up to the party. Then the update after that will be the party.
I see, so the choice of the Mom's route when Vivian choose her to be a partner in the party is still not included right? But anyway, it's still a huge update!

I am really torn on this one and looking through the thread also did not really help answering my question:

Is it better to just watch the reworked content, even though this is far less that the old one, or is it better to just watch the old content and then wait until the reworks have caught up. But as far as I can see, this would maybe not before the end of next year given the amount of content still missing.

Any advise from you guys? How much better is the reworked content?

Thank you all very much in advance!

I'd say go for the original. There is a lot of content and tons of replayability with the different paths. I haven't tried the reworked content yet, but the original is a lot of fun and definitely worth a chance.

Should I drink coke or drink water? Coke is not healthy but it tastes good, water has no taste...

Do what you want to do, we're not in your place. If you have time to waste you can play the old content.

Dog Days of Summer 0.4.1

Hello everyone.
So this is the Harper update. It is recommended that you start a new save due to bugs and failed switches.

I was planning on having everything up to the party done by this update but honestly the writing for this kinda kicked my butt. While in concept it was easy just three sticky notes, but in practice it too a lot of work.

As previously stated this was a large update in terms of writing, well over 20k words. Only a lot of that is to account for different choices. However I will say I am proud that this did what it set out to do and was able to successfully cross all the paths. So no matter what you did to help Evaline you can have all option available with Harper. It was not easy and probably a little heavy handed in some places.

But at the end of the day you have the option to
date harper
be trained by harper
or do nothing with harper

some of the paths will require you to be blackmailed while sometimes you can do it willingly depending on how you helped Evaline. There was only so much I could do narratively.
Though while you can choose to not do stuff with Harper depending on your actions she might seek revenge for slipping out of her grasp.

I am going to now switch to MLS and hope to have the next update out by New Years.

Yay. Glad to see this one back on the updates page again. There's something about it that just has me coming back to it all the time.

Noticed an 'anomaly' right at the start though, not a major thing - the text and graphics don't match. The narrative says she's slumped down in her chair while she's actually standing in the middle of the screen staring out of the monitor ;)

Not entirely sure if you are joking or not, so just in case, unless it is a full cg, the sprite and the actions do not match. The sprites are more to convey emotions and so you can keep track of the people in the scene.

Yeah, I realised that after playing for a while, just a different style than most. It seems to work once you get used to it.
If you're interested, there's a typo in Mom's dialogue early on when she's talking to Rebecca: She says "since when have you ever needed an excuse to 'Cut Lose'? That should be loose and the question mark should be inside the quotes. ('cut loose?').
In dialogue, question and exclamation marks should be inside the quotation marks.

All dialogue punctuation is inside the quotation marks—unless you're British. However, if the writer is attempting to emphasize a phrase or have the character quote something said by another character, the question mark should not be inside the single quotes because the question mark refers to the entire sentence, not the quoted two words. With regular syntax (i.e., using double quotes), it would be ". . . 'cut loose'?"
Again, the British do it differently, and I can only speak to American style.

I've seen that quoted all over the internet but it hasn't been my experience, in the last few decades at least. Either we're becoming 'Americanised' or someone has misquoted something. I was taught, in Britain many many moons ago, to put punctuation inside quotation marks when they're part of the quote. I don't know anybody who does it differently.
At the end of the day though, as long as everyone knows what you're talking about, I don't suppose it really matters, at least outside of legal documents where every character is critical...

Also, might be picky but there's only one "M" in coming (not comming!!!)
and withough - should be without and you've used 'there' where you should have used 'their'.

Ok, I'm not pointing out any more of these - this is in desperate need of some proofreading.

I think it's a good time to pick up this story again after the abrupt restart, Vivian and Des are too cute together not to pick it up again.
