Is this still being updated or is the other game taking priority? Because its been a while and the updates weren't massive to begin with.

The dev alternates between developing their games. I think the dev is spending time redoing the code of this one.

Well, as said above, they go back and forth between games and update one a few times, then return to the other one, there other game was just updated 3 weeks ago: Mother Lovers Society [Ch. 5.1] [BlackWeb Games]

I guess good thing no Unity, everyone will be not using Unity now because of what happened....yeah, Unity is dead.

The backlash is so harsh, it must surely only be a matter of time before they reverse course on this. At the moment I suspect they are just seeing if they can ride this out, given the level of outrage, I would imagine no.

I will admit this has certainly thrown a wrench in my plans and I am scrambling a little. I don't have a clear path forward at the moment but I am working on it.

I agree, and they have said that new builds of the game count as a new download and given my plan is to release a lot of updates over the years including on steam some day, so I have a feeling I would rack up that 200k downloads pretty fast and once I past the monetary threshold every update I can get a bill for 'fees' that exceed what I am making.

Were you going to recode DDS into Unity? Can you still do what you want to do in Ren'Py?

No I am recoding it but it is still in Renpy but I had hired someone to convert SexCraft over to Unity.

How would he do that? Thread is not owend by the dev, so that is literally impossible.

His last update on the progress of this on Subscribestar was a little over two months ago, so in that regard he's still good. And still about 6 months until there needs to be a game update.
Last I saw was the return of Mom from Europe and the start of Viv working at the sex shop, so there seems to be enough renders done for an update, he's just waiting on the reworked and more efficient code. Which ideally means that updates should be more frequent from here on in.
So yeah, it's been a long time since this got an update, but it's going to be hell worth it when the next update arrives.

Jesus. Like I know working on these games takes A LOT of time and hard work which I totally respect, not to mention he has a couple side projects..... but a YEAR now without a single update?? My faith in this game's progression and completion has been quickly dwindling in the last month or two
