There is a lot I want to see.

I want to see what happens with Viv and Harper on all routes. Evaline is probably my fave so her routes are going first.

Harpers scenes were really hot (not the glory hole). Well, I like that the glory hole scene is there for folks that like that stuff but i'm only interested in pure lesbian routes.

Forcing Viv to crawl to her and eat her out was hot.
YES! I agree! Looking Forward to More Viv & Ms Harper scenes.
I Did Not Care for the glory hole scene at all;
Except for the Dom/'Blackmail" aspect of it. (That Vivian belonged to Ms Harper).

And, as distasteful as it was to Vivian;
I would like to see Vivian choosing to work in the porn shop.
(kinda working towards Viv's corruption).

Any interest in a walkthrough for this game? I got a request from someone to do one, just seeing what everyone else thinks?
A walkthrough would be awesome. In this game there are a lot of decisions that change significatively the course of events. Thanks in advance.

BlackWebGames Hi dev, I want to congratulate you for this great game. Have you considered to do animations? That would be a significant improvement, which is worth it.
Thank you. Very glad you liked it. There probably wont be any animations in this game. The point of this game was to be something very simple and easy since this is my first time ever making a game. The idea being that every subsequent game after this one will increase the scope and complexity of different game designs.

Also my hope is that if this become popular enough I can invest in some new hardware for my pc making things like animations a lot more doable.

I disagree, it would be the opposite of an improvement. I skip animations whenever possible (which, sadly, some games don't let me do). It's a visual novel, not a movie. My enjoyment comes from reading dialogues and looking at the pictures in my own pace; forcing me to watch at ten seconds of a movie snippet breaks that flow and is just annoying. Whatever you want to show with an animation can be shown better with a simple picture. Also, animations are a lot of effort for lower game quality, that's a bad trade and definitely not worth it.

I don't disagree with you. I find that most of the time animations are done very poorly and often with terrible quality. Not to mention there is usually terrible clipping and the animation loop only being only a few unique frames repeated over and over again, only made worse if, as you said, they are unsinkable. Which is why if I do it I would like to do it right. First as you said not interrupting the flow of the story and making them dynamic enough that it actually feels realistic. I also intend to integrate them more into the gameplay.
The one, and sometimes only, thing I tend to actually like about real porn html games for instance is the use of gifs in sex scenes. They can be done in a way that conveys a lot of information quickly and still be arousing and fulfilling, however they are usually so limited by what clips actually exist that it break immersion so bad having all these different people being shown in the clips.
Animation could technically fix that, though it would be a lot of work and no small amount of skill. The irony being most people use those gifs because they are easier and quicker to use.
Will I be able to pull it off? Well if I can't then I won't use them. Simple as that. I will just keep doing what I am already doing in that case.

I wasn't talking about the quality of animations but about the impact of animations (in general) on my enjoyment: there are games with really good animations and yet they are annoying and I skip them and would prefer pictures instead. The general assumption of "more effort = better quality" is quite wrong when it comes to adding features that contradict the general idea of a game (as in: reading a visual novel vs. watching movie clips).

HTML games are another topic. They have another vibe; usually, you have a separation of pictures and texts, and you read the whole scene on one page; adding gifs is just a bonus with the idea of "ok that is what the scene is about and what you will read now". You could take the pictures away and still would have a game that works.
Not so in visual novels where scenes are presented by text snippets (dialogues) and (several) pictures shown one after another. Here you tell the story with texts only covering a small part of what happens and pictures being essential for understading the whole idea. Animations break this style, they are no more "read and look", they are "watch a clip".

Eventually, it's your game, so you do what you think is right. I just wanted to voice my opinion to show that not everyone agrees with the viewpoint of "animations would make the game better!" and in fact, that they would make it worse, based on my experience with many games of this kind, some also with good animations: they never increased the quality and were, imho, a waste of time and resources.

Power Broker, Your opinion is valid and I respect it, but it would has a solution for all of us: a question at the beginning of the game 'Do you want animations? Yes or No' Then the dev should do the programming to avoid animations.

I personally prefer sex visual novels or sex games with animations and I would believe is the case for the most of the people. My approach to a sex visual novel is different to a thriller visual novel or a drama visual novel, I look mainly, even above of the literature aspect, for sexual excitement which is better achieve with action (movement, animation) in my case.

BlackWebGames, I believe that a VN with animations would be more popular. There are many people who don't play or support a game just because it hasn't animations. I wish you success with this VN and I hope that in your next game you can incorporate animations.

They also take a really long time to do, especially for someone that's learning.

Monthly updates turn to 3 months then paths branch and those 3 months turn to 4 or 5. Soon you're getting 2 or 3 updates a year because each animation takes between 5 and 7 days to render and organise.

Why do you think some of the bigger games take several months to update and a lot of smaller devs don't bother?

Works great for a team but for solo devs it's not something everyone can manage nor should they.

Also, sometimes in a rush to get animations done they will be sub par, and I'd much rather see none then ones that are not smooth etc..

That's not entirely true, towards the end of the current content there is sub scene. There isn't really a sub path at this point, but that could change further on. However as I stated there is a sub scene at the end. How or whether or not you get it will depend on your choices. You are correct though, most of the game is either DOM or just normal sex at this point. I don't want to spoil too much, but it would be a good idea to help Eva cheat.
