Right click on the game installation directory in File Explorer, select "Properties," then click on the "Read-only" checkbox to clear it. Click "Apply" and then hit "OK" to confirm the attribute change to the folder, subfolders, and files. Hit "OK" a second time to close the "Properties" window. The error should now stop happening the next time you launch the game.

Um...anyone know how to get these CGs working in the game? Post gives a link for GARbro, but can that actually be used to get the redrawn CGs in the game??

Only one way to find out.
E: I mean you can open and view the archive, but I'll need to do more digging.
The tool can only extract the files, but the CGs and stuff all use a custom image format so..
So whoever made that DohnadohnaCG.afa fucked up the encoding so all the filenames are altered; they dont match the original JP names so I am not sure how it's expected to run correctly.

Just for S'n'G I put the new afa in and approximately 0% of the game loaded correctly, not even the Alicesoft boot up menu or Load Game screen
For now this just seems neat to extract the images for "collection"

Aye, this was my experience as well. I suppose it's like GranTurboAutismo said, the creator of the edited .afa changed all the filenames within it rendering it unusable to the game in its current state. Haha... it's a 1.5GB archive with tens of thousands images. Not sure how one would be able to match the file names algorithmically since the file sizes after the uncensor job are different, along with the filenames. It would be much easier to restart from scratch lol. I just don't know how the person packed those uncensored CGs into it

This game is a real blast. I'm enjoying the English version too much I'm considering to get the original game in physical edition. Mmmmh... just an opinion but maybe the op should rezip the content to edit attributes (no "only read") and share again, half of the posts in this thread are asking for the pop ups still, my kudos for sharing... this is the result of decades creating eroges, amazing Alice Soft
Regarding the redrawn uncensored stuff, the person (or group) responsible on that should be creating a patcher or something. I have no problem with the mosaics, but I must admit the redrawn version looks gorgeous and professional.

Yeah, but what I was thinking was just renaming the redrawn CGs since that's, as far as I know, the only thing that needs to be uncensored. If you just isolate the...I think it was 90?...h-scene CGs, that's a much easier to handle task. I just don't know if it's possible to copy the files from one .afa to another...or if renaming and copying is all that would even be needed to get these images in-game; I'm completely clueless on that sort of thing. More or less I'm just hoping some kind soul who does have experience with this may take notice of these uncensored images and do God's work for the betterment of mankind.

That sounds like the frequent problem. Set your SaveData folder, in your install directory, to "Read Only". (Right click, Properties, and click "Read Only" checkbox) Don't know what that is, but I had the same error and that fixed it (many others too)
After spending like 6 hours figuring out afa repacking and decoding I managed to put together a working dohnadohnaCG.afa with all the uncensored images Darkdeads provided. I haven't played the game alot just checked 2-3 scenes and it seems to be working. It is totally possible I missed some scenes, so I would appreciate if someone could check. If you find censored scenes pls dm me an image so I can fix the missing files.
The provided uncensored images were in chinese so I had to match all patched images with the ones in the japanese via image recognition. I hope I got all of them.

I have made 3 custom talents (mainly for testing purposes) and I decided to share them in case anyone is interested. They are the 3 main girls from The World's Finest Assassin (Dia, Tarte and Maha). I didn't specify their base stats or traits, you can set them as you wish. Also I have no clue why but I couldn't use the Spacebar to separate words, so I had to use Tab and it looks kinda ugly. I'd be glad if someone found a better alternative and told me about it.
Just finished my 2nd run on the game after I got the normal ending first time with the same result (normal ending again)
Anybody knows why? I loaded my save on Ep. 22, got Kikuchiyo lvl 10 and didn't hustle Porno. Am I missing something?
I really like the game and want to unlock 100% gallery
Edit: I think I unlocked her bad ending during playthough, does it mean I can't get good ending for her on this save?

Yeah, if you got the bad end for the girl you cannot get her ending. If you are CG hunting you'll need to get the bad end, and reload a save from before the bad end and continue from there.
