Those are Nukieges, they are very easy to spot. The point is that the western adult games market has virtually no games combining good story with porn like the Japanese market. Western games tend to degenerate too quickly into a mindless sexfest.
That's a fair point. But I think there are far more nukiges than there are other types of Japanese games.
Yes it's rarer to have western games that actually focus on story first, porn second. But until recently adult games have been a much smaller market in the west in general. I think the idea of actually reading an interesting story with a side of porn, is a little foreign to a lot of people not familiar with Japanese style visual novels, so it'll be a while before games like that become the norm.

I hope games like that never become the norm. I like a good story. And if an H-game has a good story I enjoy it a lot more. But if the story comes first and porn second in a porn game, then that's just wrong in my book. I came to jack off first, enjoy a story second. If I want a game focused on story I'll go get a non H-game.
The thing is that without a story the sex scenes feel disconnected and disjointed. At that point, why not just look at cgs? a good story does wonders for immersion, which i consider very important when deciding to spend time on a porn game as opposed to just watching regular porn. And I believe that is true for most people who play these kind of games. A series of CGs is not that exciting.
I have yet to see a western game with a good story connecting it all. I have seen somewhat good dialogue, but that's it.

And like I said, a good story is all fine and dandy. But when an H-game becomes all story and an occasional scene thrown in there, then I just don't give a shit. Why am I even playing it at that point? I might as well just read a fucking book. Kara no Shoujou is a good example of a game I went in thinking ''Oh, sex and murder? Sweet!'' and then instead got a boring murder mystery with barely any sexual action. And what little there was sucked. Same goes with all the Lupiesoft games. They lure me in with their sweet art and then it's just story, story, story, lame H-scene, story, repeat. Waste of good art. An H-game should focus on the H. I came for the rape and corruption, dammit. Not a sob story. However, a good story is welcome. The best games focus on both. Noxian Nights and Kingdom of Deception by Hreinn Games are good examples of games with good stories and great H. Especially KoD. It's a perfect mix. If you gotta have good story then that's how you do it. Equal parts of both. But never let the story take precedence over the H. That's just stupid in my mind. Most people came to jerk off. Not read Shake-A-Spear.
Also, CGs are very exciting. Just look at Rule 34. Images go a long way. You don't need a story for everything.

You are right. But I listed just some that came first to mind and I personaly loved. If I had to list all h-games i played myself I would present quite a wall of text there lol. I agree with you on Saya no Uta and Kara no Shoujo, Divi-Dead is still on my backlog, wonder why I didn't play it already.
Though I like both VN, with and without porn. There are some that could do without the H-Part, some have it greatly implemented. But after many years of playing VN's I've came to like both types for the story first and for the H-Part last. That is IF the story is well written. Though a little silly on some parts, I greatly liked the Grisaia VN's, but enjoyed the H-content too as it fit with the story. And I found the story's for the different girls quite well writen. Especially the Ayane-route was very intriguing. At least in my eyes.

You know at first I thought that anything related to "Porn" were only for fapping, that it's really weird to complain about story when the main purpose is only to quickly rub one out. Though Japan changed my mind and showed me how you can make a high-rated story even with a porn novel.
During all those 15 years I watched "Real Porn", I never saw anything that have a high quality story such as "Fate/Stay Night" and "Grisaia", as well as good quality gameplay such as "Alchemy Meister Kamidori" and "Fuuju Hime". Mind you, I knew NTR way before Japan introduced it to me (not the NTR name, the setting I mean), but oddly "Real Porn" has that kind of atmosphere where you just can't care less about a deaf/blind boyfriend whose girlfriend is being fucked by another guy right next to his damn side, contrary to those dangerously well-written NTR Story provided by Japan. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying all "Real Porn" have bad story/gameplay, it's just that I didn't see any that deserved to be qualified as such, that's all. All in all Japanese Porn Game/Novel will always be the best kind of porn in the porn industry in my opinion.

I know, VN as Visual Novel involves Illustrated Scenario while Eroge as Erotic Game involve Hentai Game (don't really know about the "game" side since most Eroge are mainly VN with little to no gameplay). I only said Porn Novel made in Japan can have one of the best story contrary to Western's ^^'
