Don't get me wrong, the creator of these games can do whatever he wants. If he wants to walk away, that's up to him, and I respect his decision. But I gotta say, the reason for that decision is a weird one... world issues?
I know censorship is becoming a huge issue but there's tons of pushback so it shouldn't see any real change, and there will be a guaranteed work around to every change. Is there something else that I'm missing, being an American I'll admit I can be naive to the rest of the world so is there another world issue I'm missing? (I'm aware there's several wars going on, but that shouldn't dictate the content you include in your future games)

Itch and Steam recently had to purge lots of games (itch had to hide any adult/nsfw games from view) due to payment processors and censorship. Probably the main reason, as places that use visa/mastercard/etc for payments (steam, itch io, patreon, etc) face this eventually.

To be clear I stopped development mostly not because of all those issues.
I have a job IRL and barely have time for a gamedev, especially this year.
I stuck with a story and got tired of making similar scenes for almost 4 years. I lost a few character cards and assets for DW2 last year. I stopped enjoying writing dialogues a long time ago.
It is a bit hard to make a femdom game when you can't stand more than half of femdom fetishes.
Anyway, I might work on a game or two in collab with other devs from time to time, not sure yet.

This is worse than the previous one at the end the protagonist is a puppy leaves much to decare the content is a disaster the developer
Yeah it's probably done, the page is gone afaict. DW1 will always be a cult classic. Too bad he never quite recaptured that magic, that game was a lot of fun.
Yikes. You guys realize that it's comments like these that the developer probably sees and feels good that he walked away. The lack of gratitude for what's been made is crazy.
