Well. Another game ruined by a Developer who can't handle sandbox/free roam. Good visual but a lot of bugs, a lot of lags, a lot of spaghetti coding and grind. Damn, it must be a really good game if just use VN style with choices and not sandbox...

Just curious what do you enjoy about sandbox games ? 99% of the time its endless grinding, always the same content, not very clear instructions of what to do and no real liberty cause you have to follow the game path.
The only i liked was Lust academy cause that one atleast was straigh up simple, and always diferent content and conversatios.

The whole point of sandbox games is nobody is telling you what to do (in theory), you do what you want when you want, discover the world organically, at your own pace.
In a Good sandbox game you should feel like you can do anything, like the story is evolving around your decisions.
And no dude!... Sandbox games are NOT 99% about endless grinding... Bad Sandbox games force a ton of grinding (and it's often a crutch for Devs trying to "bulk" out their games so it feels like there is more than there is)... In a good game Grinding is optional... a way to grow your character to an OverPowered state IF thats what you want, Good Sandbox games have the option to just take it on the chin and speed run.

Weird! Already met the requirement still can't trigger.

Update: I figured it out! I checked my old saves and found out that Riley's profile was in character stats screen when MC first met her in the bar, but somehow it disappeared later. Thanks for the save, BTW.

I'm really lost on what to do with this game.

I got the VR and did the quests for the barmaid and wizard. I then made an invisible necklace and saw the behind bar scene. I spoke with Jennie who asked I keep her secret and then met Dave who asked me to bring his mother into the game but I don't know how to do that. I bought Kim and Rachel a headset but when I see Rachel in the VR game I cannot speak with her.

What else am I supposed to be doing as I cannot find a quest list or anything on what needs to be done.

No, i started the new game and i had no problem.

ERRORS:
DoA(VR) if you cap out your inventory and try to sell items in notice board you get error. If you have more then one item, its gonna trade all same items as one.
Thank you for letting me know why. I had made 2-3 copies of a LOT of items and would trade them. I didn't check my inventory after the trades, but much later, when I finally got as duplicate that I should have had in my inventory it wasn't there. I didn't know why everything disappeared.

There's a lot to do.

With Rachel & Kim, you usually can only talk with them at your house or theirs. Fight/Gather resources with them at each location (sand, sky, forest). When they show online, I usually go to their homes and invite them there. Then you can do more than talk. Sometimes, after they go offline after such an event, you can click the invite and they will show back up. I did this with Jennie like 5 times in a row once. It was beautiful. Got through a lot of content. Later on there is content that both of them need to be online at the same time, and yes, sometimes that invite trick works for that too.

For Dave's quest, you need to see when Jennie is online (early morning or late night, not always, 30% chance?), invite her to her house, and talk to her there about the quest. Also, she can clone Rachel and Kim too. To advance with Jennie, you need to go through all the scenes with her being different people to get her stats up higher. Eventually you'll be able to go on a date with her IRL.

Regarding the Dev Tool. On the PC in your room is a hack tool minigame. You need to get up to level 3 at least, then when fighting enemies you can hack them (they need to be low on health and a weird multi-colored circle with shapes will appear on their person during the fight, click that), then you can have sex scenes with them. If you invite any of the girls to your house, you can use the dev tool on them and it'll "freeze" their avatar and you can have your way with it. You also need to be able to use this for Dave's quest. (The higher your hacking level, the easier it is to hack an opponent.)

I don't think you need to fight/gather resources to advance the game, but you do need to interact with the others in the VR realm. Some IRL content is locked behind the VR content.

Hope this helps.

Depending on how much time you want to spend in the DoA world (I enjoy the crafting side of most games, so that part of this game appeals to me and I love quests. We need more quests!!!) ... here's more info related to combat / crafting... putting it in a spoiler so those who don't care won't have to read it...

That's my comprehensive guide to the mini-game side of DoA... more or less. Enjoy.
