I get some similar errors, and I tried to start it from the beginning, too.

looks very promising..

so when it was said that " DP 2.0 REQUIRES A NEW START!!! ", just to clarify,
it means old saves won't work nor be compatible with this new version, right?
as in we start everything Back to Square 1?

So I've been exploring the the game a bit, started a new game as per advice..

I've noticed, how much there's a ton of content waiting to be unlocked in the gallery, so that's nice.
then I also saw there's now a "Special Cheat?", this is new right?

so I'm assuming this is for patrons right? and i should just leave it alone?
unless I missed out on a memo from the recent posts in this thread about it.
I carefully read the changelog for 2.0 and got nothing talking about this special cheat feature.

Congrats on upgrading the game play! Have not tried it myself but anything that reduces multiple repititions without any visible progress other than stat increases is always good.

Assume no new sex scenes, and still just the same "sleep sex" aka molestation that we had in 1.9?

My first test run of this, Cinema.rpy error is impassible on any question of movie.
Have not ran it on Linux yet, only MS so far.
Guessing the error must be addressed before proceeding.

Anyone successful with the Cinema content?

New mini game with the restaurant, have not yet figured it out nor pro's and con's for reward outcome.
Have not vested much time in figuring it out fully yet.
