Wish I could vote to keep it but I dropped support after the tattoo/piercing people won.

My personal opinion is that the most useless irrelevant piercing in a porn game that i keep seeing when piercings are involved is the belly button one. It's just.. why. Might as well have shopping scenes where we buy slippers. Who cares. Are we going to have belly button focused sex scenes? Scenes where the belly button will even be visible to make the piercing even remotely relevant? Probably not.
It's not rocket science, go for the nipples or clit or tongue.. something that has relevance in sex scenes.
But what do i know..

Wtf!
I mean, this dev has a hand on writing and makes some very hot renders, but when it comes to the outfits he puts on Jane or the body modifications, it’s just terrible.
And I hope it stays that way. Jane is one of the best looking protagonists in porn games. But with the picture of this "new" hairstyle, she just looks absolutely stupid. The dev should spend his time for better stuff than thinking about changing her looks.
idle question. Is there a reason that every image linked in these threads shows as broken/too large for me to open in general, or is this something on my end?
The piercings should become optional in future, the dev said.
I am afraid it's on your side. it works correctly on my side (computer, not a phone).

I usually look at the last version of the game I played... and the Latest version number... and decide if there is new content from the last time I played the title.

Hello everyone,
So, that last poll threw me for a loop—I really thought you’d like Jane’s new hairstyle. Guess not! No worries, Jane’s keeping her classic look, now spiced up with a back tattoo and navel piercings. I’m planning to add nipple piercings as an option in a later update.
Jane’s story wrapped up in the last update, so now it’s time for a new adventure. I’m brainstorming where to take her next and what kind of story I want to dive into. It’s like a fresh start for her—and for me as a dev, too!
So it will be like a spiritual sequel of the game, with some new changes like:

Following up on the above it appears the dev won't call it downfall 2 but next update will be separate from the existing game and no, it won't be on ren'py but a newer version of RPGM.

That didn't work for me. I had to use one of the saves that came with the last version of the game to get past the conversation with Alex. Unfortunately that save has a different outcome of the conversation. In my save, Jane tells Alex that she had to cheat on him, he's offended and their relationship comes to an end. Just as the update, because the game ends due to a bug right after the end of the conversation. In the save that came with the update, he always knew she had to use her body and he agrees that she keeps doing so, he's even proud that her heart belongs to him, so it's a completely different outcome.
I like the version with the end of their relationship because I can't stand Alex and I don't think a lucky, healthy relationship is a good fit for a game about the downfall and corruption of the MC. It just doesn't make sense for me. And now I don't know if I'l still be able to use my old saves for the next update or if I'll have to agree that Jane is still with this douchebag of a boyfriend.
I'm still wondering how an 80s-style haircut is supposed to look like an upgrade, but I'm glad Jane gets to keep her hairstyle.
The only hair change I'd appreciate is her pubic hair. I'm not a fan of landing strips, but it seemed like a good fit in the beginning of the game. But with the tattoo and piercings, her looks goes more and more towards a pornstar/slutty look. And last time I checked, most pornstars don't have a single hair down there. Might be another way of the old man to humiliate her... Jane wants to keep it and he forces her to get rid of it. Or maybe the neighbours make her do it because it's requiered in their club. I can think of many ways to lose her pubic hair... I'll just wait and see if she gets to keep it.
