Yeah, came here to ask this. Is there any solution to the audio crackling? This is a bit sad because the BGM sets the tone really well.

Btw, I love the maturity of the writing. Very refreshing to see and I especially love how the relationship bars are different for everyone! I really have no words for how brilliant this is!

The reason for the audio crackle is that I was trying to be responsible and normalize the volume for all the tracks so that people wouldn't have to keep turning it up and down during the game. I wanted players to be able to set their speaker volume once and then the game would be at a consistent level throughout.
I've worked out the math and I'm in the process of re-normalizing all the volume to fix the crackle. It's just a bit involved because I have to test it and retest it as a I go. My goal is to have this fixed and roll it out with the next update.

A stop-gap solution before the update is deployed. Go to "DAST001-v1.0.7b-pc\game\audio\music" and match the track to the one playing and keep it on loop after muting sound in the game preferences. A small tip: The last 5 tracks located at the end of the folder feature heavily early on but I've only just reached the Cassie chapter. Not pretty but it's something

It's the difference between the "rebel" front that she puts on the for the world and is slowly being consumed by vs opening and up and letting Roger past her defenses to see the "real" Jane underneath that is crying out for help and guidance.A stop-gap solution before the update is deployed. Something interesting I've noticed about the character selection screen is how a blue relationship with everyone makes the characters look towards the right in a happy manner with the exception of Nanami who looks towards the left. Am I reading too much into this or has this been done on purpose for some reason?
Basically what I just learned is that I better not try to slide anything past you because you're one perceptive sunnovabitch!
Nanami's personality is inverted from everyone else's. If you're nice to Nanami and picking blue choices, she perceives that as weakness and will treat you like an obedient dog. But if you pick mostly red options, you're laying your dick down and trying to put her in her place, that makes her chaff, but also sends the message of who is in charge.

I think I may have encountered a glitch. In Nanami's Chapter 2, meeting Val Jones for the first time displays 4 options. Each of the options disappear after reloading or rolling back. Even restarting the chapter doesn't bring back those options back. Also not sure if it's preprogrammed but his Employer relationship bar is fully filled before we've even begun talking.
Edit: Deleting the Persistent file in AppData brings them back but they disappear for good when reloading or rolling back.
