Shit, you're right. There's a side scene coming where you deal with the repercussions of telling her after which she'll be either red or blue, but I wasn't thinking about the overall sequencing and the fact that this can occur prior to that resolution (was totally on the back burner).
Alright, minor continuity glitch in the matrix, but I'll take care of it with Emily's release. Good catch mate!

Being nice will definitely pay off. There are no real "wrong" choices in the game. But the blue path is the slower, more romantic path that will lead to a longer lasting and deeper relationship while the red path is more opportunistic, manipulative and shallow.
That said, it's just taking a little longer for the pieces to all fall into place on the blue path, but trust that they will and for those looking for more intimate and romantic partnerships will be satisfied.
Regarding Choice Trees:
But don't worry, I have the "pathing problem" on lock. My inspiration were games like Late Shift, Mass Effect, Any of the Tell Tale Games, Alpha Protocol, etc. The trick is understanding the art of writing a story with different paths that all lead to the same place. The perfect example is the Strip Club Scene in Nanami's second chapter. The trick is to write it in such a way as all paths start and end in the same place.
Based on your choices, you get there different ways and the stuff that happens a long the way will matter, but as long as all roads lead right back to Rome, you can keep things under control from a narrative perspective. When you make choices in the game, it's not really the game that changes, it's your journey that is altered. It's an art, writing in such a way so that no matter how far left or right the story splits, things always meet back up again before once more splitting off.
Tell Tale games do this so flawlessly. You make choices left and right and end up all over the place, but no matter what, you always end up in the same general place by the end of Chapter. There will be some differences when you get there, but every plot line jumps into the next chapter from the same place.
Short story made long - fear not. It's under control.
Makes me wonder what is going to happen in some of the paths since here i am more diverse between "paragon" or "renegade".

While the length may vary from chapter to chapter, I am trying to do my best at keeping the overall length of both paths the same.
Well, to be fair, I generally don't use them any more, as much as I hate how dumb most of the 'landlady/roommate' fixes are, due to them causing a lot of problems with most games these days, and I barely have time to play anything right now, never mind trying to mess with extras.but... but i have yesterday update the incest patch
I have to disagree with you strongly on that one. She might not be super 'thicc' like her not-the-momma, but she in no way fits that description. I mean, we are not talking as big a difference as D vs. Jen and Elena, but still, she has developed plenty of curves in all the right places.

First of all I have the patch if that makes a difference, I at first had a custom name but sometimes the original name came out anyways so I went back and began playing with original MC name to avoid that bugging me, I did read some other people about other people having the same issue though.
I only said that cuze I wanted to say something else so I might as well. Ill say it in spoilers just in case, personally I don't care about being exposed to spoilers but just to be safe...

That is as far as I got originally before starting over and just using default name. I don't feel like going any further, so I don't know if it happens later. But as you can see this is rather early on the game.
Edit: Want screen shots of what I talked about on the spoilers? I'm not sure how that would help though.

Hi, I found that if you have a save game with a setting that Color Choices Off and when you load it from first time running the game (close the game and running it again later), that save game still have the choices with color.
It can be fixed by clicking the planner and close it one time, but it will be good if we don't have to do that and just continue to play the game. Thanks.
