Okay, looking at the 3+ pages of rage... I'll just patiently wait...

The game is just a clusterfuck of issues right now, and a lot of people don't seem to know how to fix it, including acerola themselves. got it.

also, the mtool stuff tends to only work for those that have PAID for it. if you have the FREE version, you're still fucked right now. mtool was always weird with wolf RPG to begin with, but apparently the text size is too big for the free version.

Personal thoughts though, I think there would have been less issues for everyone if acerola just used RPG maker to build the game.

An usser already made a translation for mtool that all users can use, including the free ones. You just have to open the game with mtool and go to the translate tab and load the translation translationdone.json and everyone would have the game translated. Is used with mtool and only modifies the text, it is valid for all future versions and updates since it only touches text and not other files that usually change with updates.

Even odd that there were others, especially the JP, who want to release the game before one of the developers would die. Well, this is what everyone got currently. I'm refreshing the ci-el page for any updates.

Well, we want the game to be translated from the get-go, no doing mtool usage further since we know how the tool works.

Obviously, but keep in mind that Acerola has not yet given any explanations. We don't know how long it will take to fix the game.A translator will never work on the game without first solving the problems. Even Dazedanon, who does AI translation, says that he won't pay attention to it until February or until it is fixed. A translator who works manually also has to wait. So for now, whoever wants to play, let them do it. No one is obliged.

And here I thought nothing would be able to beat the Censor for most buggy release this month. I'm still getting black screens for certain h cgs and broken animations. It's like they did zero bug testing. This needed at least two weeks of it.

This CG is supposed to be a deflowering scene with blood and all. Yet instead of actual blood as a drawing, there's only the usual CG with the text "virgin blood placeholder" lmao. (Not limited to Fransisca's scenes)

Can't believe they pulled a No Man's Sky/Cyberpunk 2077.
I really love Acerola, they're my favorite circle so far, but man, this hurts to watch.

To be fair, the game is hella big and ambitious, would be way more surprising if it didn't bug out this much
Though, as someone who knows rudimentary-ass Japanese and can't be bothered to Google Translate Ci-en comments, I really wonder if those months of free test versions had any effect

damn I cant believe a small indie team that had one member die during development released a buggy game. I will hold them to the standard of billion dollar AAA studios as I download their work for free.

Its very promising but needs some patches for sure, I would avoid until more stable: Like half the CGs weren't displaying in 1.01

If I remember right this game was actually in development before both of their last two games, and its already been delayed like over a year. Theres a massive amount of collaborative authors for this game and I bet there was a lot of pressure to stop delaying it. I don't imagine acerola will try to work with this many other people ever again lol

i understand that the game is full of bugs atm but is the fact that there is no voice during H-scenes a bug as well?

UPDATE: seems he released an announcement that talks about the black screen bug, they intend to make a measure at the very least the 31th.

(google translated from his Cien )

Regarding the bug in Dragon Blood
Regarding the recently released Dragon Blood, we would like to sincerely apologize
for the inconvenience caused to our users due to various bugs .

Regarding the darkening of the H-scenes.
I sincerely apologize for my lack of confirmation.
We are currently taking measures, and we would like to have it in some form
by the end of this week on the 31st , so we apologize for the inconvenience, but we would appreciate it if you could wait a little longer.

Regarding the crash. The Wolf Editor that
we are currently using does not seem to be designed for large-volume archiving, so please play with ver1.02 , which is currently uploaded to DLsite . *If the crash occurs even after ver1.02, we will consider a different solution. Also, regarding the patch that we are currently uploading, the method of application was incorrect and it is in a different format from the one sold by DLsite, so we have temporarily deleted it. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please download the new data from DLsite .

Regarding the audio
, we wanted to focus on the sound quality, so
we plan to update it in a future update.
We will update it around February 10th, and
we will notify you again when it is implemented.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We are truly sorry that we have betrayed the expectations
of everyone who had high hopes for our product. We take the many criticisms we have received seriously, and will do our utmost to ensure that this never happens again in the future.

We are truly sorry for this inconvenience.
We hope you will continue to support Aserola in the future.

yup, called it. wolf RPG isn't too good with stuff of this magnitude. RPG maker, Unity, and so many others can easily handle a game that's like 4GB+

either way, time to wait for 2-3 weeks since they basically pulled a Sonic 06....

After having read the whole topic and many comments on Acerola's recent post, the summary is that they has screwed up incredibly. The important bug is that no h-scene is seen, the problem is that many of the voices seem not to have been recorded, and they will add them on february 10. So besides selling a broken product, also sold it incomplete, many if not all the comments on ci-en are negative or asking for a refund, in short:

Fix the broken h-scenes and everything else by the 31st of this month, and by february 10th fix/add all the voices that is not heard in the game.

Well, not like I was planning on playing it right as it released anyway lol. Still, looking forward to whenever it gets fixed and we get a decent TL. Unfortunate to hear that one of the devs died, though.

Nothing new in 2025 honestly. Sell it now, fix it later is kind of the de-facto business model at this point.
If I read all this, with so many glaring issues, there's no way nobody caught it, any of it, before release. Unless literally nobody ever played through it, even once, before releasing this damn thing.

Still, according to dlsite alone, they already sold >10K copies.
