I'm trying to understand what I'm missing about this game, because from everything I'm seeing it's just lazy slop.
I didn't play that long (just a few hours) because I had to force myself and it quickly became a ridiculous example of "surely there has to be something redeemable about this game for it to be so liked", and I gave up fairly early in the game, so it's very likely 99% of the game changes later.
Early on though it just commits the combined crimes of just maybe the worse example of rpgmaker slop combat I have ever seen, to the point that you repeat the exact same combo in every fights but also the eery impression you can probably beat the final boss at level 1 with said combo, as long as you do a minimal amount of "buy new gear", with absolutely no learning curve or things you can actually do to become stronger in a real way.
And the crime of, well, the H content being "you have to pretend to be braindead and either purposefully lose fights or do things against character to get money when there is money laying around for doing things the character is good at doing", with the most boring scenes if you actually go that way.
Its just so goddamn lazy man.
