Honestly I don't see this as significantly different than the "your love interests are all Pigeons" VN, or the "date a tank" game. If you don't like it, don't play it. Other wise, its to be taken about as seriously as HoneyPop. Mostly there for a laugh.

Well, I downloaded it and gave it a try. It is rather bad though. Like a lot of these games, far too much "humorous" talking. To be fair, I think I just don't get the snarky teenage humor stuff.

Anyway, the world in which its set seems to assume that all men are gay or at least bi, which I thought was quite an interesting revenge for all the games (and indeed real life) where the men assume all girls are bi.

This game is very "meh". There is no sexual content, which is ok, but what I really disliked was lack of relationship building moments, romantic tension, and actual flirting. You hang out with them, talk about life I guess, your problematic kids; and then suddenly game ends, with a very rushed conclusion. It is an interesting enough experience, just not a very good "dating simulator", which they advertised it as.
Humor is very youtube-friendly, and bland when you really think about it. Most of the jokes did went over my head, for majority of them were grounded in american culture, and things like TV shows, old school bands, or just some everyday concepts Im not really that familiar with.
Art is nice, but there isnt really much to see. For every good ending, you get a picture. Backgrounds are nice and atmospheric, at least. Music is... nice, as well, not really memorable.
Meh.

On a more serious note if the whole gay thing freaks you out because your as vanilla as manilla then you have nothing to worry about because you aren't plunging your excalibur into hot gay dads and shooting your holy goop in them.
But if thats what you came for then maybe someone will do it in the near™ future.
