Yes, i think the dev is going to the psycho theme, it could be interesting see the moment our Mc knows about his friend being a psycho, and of course the main question here is what is going to happen to Danielle... Alex maybe kill her and we have the first victim ( if Alex is a psycho the plot need deads) or maybe he says something like he finds those things there or somethingLeah's a slut.
