I like the way Summer is developing. Like you said not just suddenly jump on MC. But starting to consider that this guy she's been friends with may just be something more.

Lea, on the other hand, girl is beyond redemption lmao. I still have a dedicated route for her, though MC in that route will absolutely be cucked.

I can't see anything she has done (yet?) that would even need a redemption arc, let alone beyond redemption (but maybe that's just me).

She’s kinda a bit of a manipulative hoe, I think it’s more of a „I wouldn’t date her“ instead of „she’s pure evil“.
I really like Mei‘s design and she is cute (on her path) but she isn’t really a fitting LI for the story imo.

The setting of Dreamland that Dokiden is meant to relay to players is these characters known each other really well and we don't. This explains why Mei is head over heels to MC (I think the background will makes a lot sense if Mei fell for MC later for appropriate reason).
Danielle reveals Lea's personality trait with MC and then Lea will confirm this by herself if you choose to play that route. So, Lea using Alex, who is apparently a degenerate to a certain degree, and playing with MC's dick is really nothing.

Yeah, she admits to using her looks and sexuality to manipulate Alex and others in the past, but every girl does that to a certain degree. Danielle flashes him to get him to stay with her, Summer takes sexy pics to make money, Mei tries to guilt you into a relationship.
Why is Lea irredeemable?
I get she's not the nicest person and has some pretty bad flaws (but they all have flaws).
Again, I'm not trying to argue, I'm trying to understand. Have I missed something?

I agree that it's hard to see Lea faithful, that is if Danielle told us the truth about her cheating on her BF, also in general she is a real bitch, I mean she tries to steal a guy from BFF right away, either they are not really friends with Danielle, or she is just a shitty person in general, anyways, what happens next - still remains to be seen
With all that said - for me the main issue with Lea is that she is a possible junkie in addition to all other issues, too much focus on drugs during her scenes, I am really... really... really not a fan of this stuff, oh well
But again, even with all that stuff I don't think she is beyond redemption IMO, I'm still gonna play her path and maybe fix her
