I want to like this game, I really do. It had a very promising start and the models are great. But if you're going to sell a game on the plot, not just the sex, then the plot must make sense, and it just doesn't. If it's going to be a soap opera/horror meld, I'm sure there will be people invested in it. But this update is just presenting twists for the sake of having twists (and with no build up on top of it). This isn't even on the Mei twist: that was just the icing on the cake. It was Summer and Jason freaking out because the guy helping them sneezed and decided to act purely on instinct and run off into the woods. Why? Drama. That's the only narrative reason.

As for Mei, why should anyone care what her explanation is? Nothing about her actions made sense before the twist, now it's just absurd. Danielle and Lea aren't trustworthy? Well, we knew that. How are they any different from everyone else in this game, not Summer, Alice, and Jason? And, frankly, who knows about Jason? He may have his own dark secrets and be an unreliable narrator. Alice's act may be the same as Mei's and since we're here, Summer could be a cannibal pretending to be too dumb to live.

There's nothing connecting any of this. It's just dramatic points and swerves with no follow-through peppered with fucking to keep everyone invested. Again, I'm sure there's an audience for this and they'll enjoy it. But unless something shakes out to tie this mess together, I'm getting off the train.

I'm not disagreeing about the plot twists and seemingly unconnected stuff going on, but I think you might have missed a bit on this point. There were more reasons than the sneeze.

Summer found a knife with fresh blood in the car. MC saw what looked like a body hiding under a blanket, moving, so likely not a dead body.

I think bolting is a perfectly natural reaction in the situation.

That's fair since I didn't add a lot of context, so I'll try and flesh it out a bit.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Ultimately, the dev just needs to sit down and focus on one idea: one narrative throughline with one mystery that allows the MC to have a justification to be in this area and interact with these very unlikeable people (Alice is currently excluded from that count, but she may be a cannibal for all we know.). Right now, it doesn't have that and the single character that you could argue was close to that threshold has just been proven to be untrustworthy as well. That's the point I was trying to get too.

Okay so, slasher? friend mentally unstable, maybe killed someone?, 2 random girls who want to bone constantly? "main love interest" goes missing, but is at main destination out of nowhere, seemingly chilling, throwing a party?

Follow through with one thought please, some answers need to be given or something. because right now, to me Mei was the one that sabotaged the car, hell, Mei could also be the one who killed the old gf or that other girl (I dunno, I'm confused), but red herrings have been thrown out so often that I don't know what's going on.

I'm going to be honest, this isn't fun to read.
After reading this myself yeah, and cops just drop them off instead of going right to the cabin that prob isnt even 5 mins away
