Mei saw her neighbor having sex on the first day of college! And immediately met MC - a coincidence? Maybe her neighbor Jacklyn?
If my theory is correct, i wouldn’t be surprised that Jacklyn is at that party at the end of the update!
I don't really care about Mei so it's whatever but I honestly can't see any good reason for her to just ghost everyone to throw a party? It just makes 0 sense. Maybe the dev will surprise me and she'll actually have a good explanation but I really doubt that tbh.

Did you actually read my comment to just decided that you're gonna argue with someone today for no reason? What's the point of this picture? I literally said that I don't see a good reason that makes sense for her to do what she did. Her having a secret that will hurt MC has nothing to do with what I said.

The reason is that she also has a secret, someone wrote her a lot of messages, the reason is that she most likely sabotage the car breakdown!
We just don’t know what the secret is!
But this Secret is the Reason - do you understand it or not?
Mei was the initiator of this trip, was her plan to do this from the very beginning or something went wrong/

Not to mention how we see her at the end of this episode: dressed for a party, half drunk (I think) and holding a bottle.
All this makes me think that: yes she is the one who staged her own kidnapping, she is the one who likely tampered with the car, the IDs in her wallet could likely be fake (why else leave them there and run away without them?) and she (probably) faked being a virgin.
I may be wrong but all the clues I now have lead me to think so.
