I don't think it's Ryzen, the quality of the game is ahead of what Renpy supports. The dev didn't make a render per scene, he joins several pieces into one, this requires more than Renpy supports.
Your system has a problem.
Just read through with my Ryzen CPU and no issue.

To add confusion I think. She may have multiple personality disorder. She goes from shy girl completely in love with MC who hates having fun to ditching all her friends to steal the house for a big party.

and changes her looks from cute shy girl into ugly whore despite leaving all her stuff back at the camp
a thing which (weirdly) annoys me anyway, MC and Summer left all their stuff behind too already

If she has personality disorder i don't think she would be surprise to see MC and Summer appear in the house, i mean thats a total reaction of the normal Mei i would say but this novel might be just shit with a bunch of holes in the story or it might have a more deep explanation and it's really good...we will know in the upcoming 2 updates maybe?, all Mei shit it's strange yeah, but it intrigues me MC's ex, for me it's really strange to break up with your chilldhoodfriend/bff/girlfriend of 15 years just like that.

I don't really care about Mei so it's whatever but I honestly can't see any good reason for her to just ghost everyone to throw a party? It just makes 0 sense. Maybe the dev will surprise me and she'll actually have a good explanation but I really doubt that tbh.
