One thing that came to my mind recently is, I really am not a fan of how the name change is done in this game. It presents one of two issues, either one sucks, in my opinion.
The first, is that Mei just forgot our name, the guy she has been friends with and has a crush on. It kind of makes her look bad(I know events of the game doesn't help), that she would forget our name and call us Jason.
The other option is, we truly are just playing someone named Jason. Which sucks just as much. I like to self insert, I like to feel a part of the story, so this is just as bad as the previous possible issue.
I tried to suggest to the dev to change it, who said it was important, then later said it was just an easy way for implementation, and not worrying about typing it and so forth. So not sure which one is true, but I really wish he would change how this is done, cause either Mei forgets our name or we are just playing Jason the whole time with a fake name alias. I just hate the name change system in this game, cause it feels bad to me and wished it would change.
