Typically, people who like something will leave a review and move on; it's the people who dislike/hate something that obsess over reviews, leaving likes for the low-scoring ones that align with their thoughts. This is true even for the most popular games on here. I looked at reviews (won't name the game because of site rules), and the 5-star reviews have a few likes (most of which only have one like from the creator), but the few negative ones have 2-3 times as many likes. So, using likes on reviews is a bad way to judge something.
