The only thing that bothered me about that forced scene was the fact that Summer didn’t trust me but blindly trusted a stranger.

In chapters 1 & 2, she is a completely different person, as the inner monologue after their night together makes quite clear. So either Mei suffers from multiple personality disorder or the screenwriter is a complete dumbass - which I tend to believe, since the story is more ridiculous in so many places than any of the B-Movies I've ever seen.Mei is such a bitch!
And that's a real shame, because the visual realization is really top-notch.

Same. Summer was already my favorite (her sex scene after the photoshoot in the museum is still the best in the game by far), but after this update, I was furious at MC for not sleeping with her.
Funny how her dialogue changes depending if you're on her path or not.

Just finished the update. Lewd scenes are nice, visuals great as always, writing awful as always. Characters remain incredibly stupid. The talk with cops about that guy assaulting MC was cherry on top in that case.
"Confrontation" with Alex had to happened behind screen because...?
I played all paths and Mei's route seems...dead? You can end things with her on the pier but even if you say "I'm sorry" the next scene with her has no difference in being on her route or not. It ends with something like "That what friends are for" so not even a single line that would acknowledge pursuing her.

Alice is too boring for me and barely a part of the story so far, her weirdo dad/family situation makes it less appealing too for me, she kinda behaves and seems to have the life experience of a 12 year old. But i can see why someone would like her in this ocean of sick psychos.*cough cough* Alice? Hello? How could you!?

Also yeah Mei can fuck right off though. Dev did a good job selling that gaslight bit, I'm sure its a reverse uno where its gonna have a big reveal of her crypticness or w/e but leaving MC to drown, lying, gaslighting, and manipulating the everloving piss out of him, letting her friends practically get involved with a serial killer while unknowingly also having a "CLUE" murderer amongst them. Whew, she's just bad news all around. Also pretty sure she was well aware of Jay too. She's giving that yandere vibe, but not the cute kind of yandere, more the realistic psychopath hyper-obsessed stalker, "if i cant have you. no one will" kinda yandere. Just the vibe I'm getting anyway.
Pretty sure Mei couldn't justify herself in a lifetime for me to ever give her a chance on my playthrough lol.
Danielle is crap, REALLY not a fan that taking summer home implicates that Lea sleeps with Alex, was a huge sore spot for me.
But then again I just reminded myself who Lea was with originally and it was like eh, shes hot but I'd likely do the same IRL and just say "get fucked" too
Alice best girl, hands down, literal diamond needle in an actual haystack. So far atleast. Summer is easy runner up for sure. A bit too materialistic and superficial but atleast she's a romantic at heart.
Youre right that Summer has some slight flaws too but imo she feels realistic and the flaws just reinforce that and she seems aware of it herself.
I have scrapped my Mei playthrough after chapter 2 or 3 (after she started out as my favorite) when she turned into a female incel in other parts lol but has anyone played the new chapter on her path already? Does she behave as fucked up as when not on her path or is it different?
And if helping a drunk and frightened friend is enough for lea to sleep with alex/other guys, she can fuck right off too, why would you want to surround yourself with a girl like that, not even speaking about danielle who gives her ass to the mc to do alex a favor lmao
