Huh.Tracy is by far the most boring character design and evolution , she's very good looking and she knows it , she could bang anyone but yea she decide to fuck her brother like that for no actual reason
Ok, granted, I'm speaking from a place of bias because I actually like her, but while I agree with you that she's initially portrayed as the archetypal "Alpha Bitch," I think there's more to her than that. Your typical Alpha Bitch that you see in media usually doesn't have anything more to them than "I'm hot, everyone wants me, so I get to treat everyone I come across like shit and get away with it because I feel I'm entitled to whatever I want."
And while that's certainly the attitude she puts forward and may even be how she thinks of herself a lot of the time, I feel that quickly goes out the window. The defining quality of that kind of character is that they're shallow and selfish and Tracy... isn't. The fact that she's covertly taken up the rather huge responsibility of trying to thwart a secretive death cult's twisted plot to murder her family kind of speaks against the idea that she only gives a damn about herself.
It's pretty obvious, at the very least, that while the relationship she has with her brother might be antagonistic, she does, at least, worry about her little sister and her mother. She's not overtly hostile towards them, and even then there's a reason for why she's so shirty with the player character. It's a case of "hurt him to help him." She's pretty much figured out that little bro is that really weird and ultimately dangerous combination of naive, stupid, irresponsible, nosy, and maybe just plain unlucky enough to stick his nose in where it doesn't belong and get it chopped off. That if he should ever somehow get involved in this business, he's likely to get in over his head.
To me, the whole thing reads like "I can trust Mom to be too busy to be worried about Dad to get mixed up in this. I can stash Alice with Aunt Jenna so that she doesn't get involved in this. But PlayerName is going to be a pain in the ass, I just know it. How can I get rid of him? I know, pretend I can't stand him, which isn't too hard, because he genuinely is obnoxious, anyway."
She doesn't genuinely hate the player character. She never did. They may have genuinely grown apart as they got older and their personalities/values/whatever changed a little, but she always cared. She just figured that pretending that the rift between them was bigger than it really was, seemed like a convenient and effective way to try and push him out of the picture and keep him "safe" from this debacle she was already caught up in. Which, you know, again, I'm biased, but sounds pretty damn noble to me.
