If you are here you obviously are meant to be playing 1.0. Is still better than the current Steam version which besides the gallery fix has less content than what's being offered here.

Lains mod won’t work with the DE current version on here (which is the same version on steam just with the elite content) without some modifications to the mod. Also all versions are broken when using the alternative costumes except the original 1.0.3 version as it uses the old renpy engine.

Huh? I downloaded it from here and it is the 1.0 Patreon version. Steam version is like 1.3 now.
My bad, let me fix that... Lain's mod won't work with the steam version at all without first renaming the file episode1.rpy in the mod to script.rpy. I have been looking at both versions too much last few weeks and had retested Lain's mod on the wrong version by mistake (I used it on a copy of the steam version which I had copied to another folder to unpack and compare)
. All versions have bugs on the alternate costume path (steam when you force elite content flag to True).The mod I'm working on will:
-Add selection to replay halloween event from Holiday Specials after experiencing it in game [Done]
-Add custom walkthrough based off Lain's walkthrough with additional flags (togglable on/off from options) [Partial]
-Update gallery to be inline with steam version (with cheats to unlock/relock all; cheats togglable from options) [Done]
-Make Uncensored patch togglable (in options) [Done]
-Achievement List added to Main Menu only for steam version (with cheats to unlock/relock all; cheats togglable from options) [Done]
-Elite content added back in for steam version [Done]
-Fix for Alternate costume bugs in Elite content [Done]
-Textbox style selection in options (Original 1.0.3 textbox & font, Solid box (from lain's mod edited to full width), default gradient) [Partial]

Lains mod was supposed to have it, so I will most likely add it back once in get there. Been dealing some things so haven’t had a lot of time to work on it lately. It may be a little before I can get back to it.
For the time being...Download the DE version on here and install Lain's Mod if you want the walkthrough mod (includes family patch) but avoid the alternate costumes in game as they are bugged in all versions ATM. If you wish to play without the walkthrough mod installed use my alt fix from above to fix the alternate costume bugs (won't work with Lain's Mod as they use the same files) as well as the ipatch from lewdpatcher and enjoy.
Done...didn't even realize, as I hadn't looked at episode 12, but I already had it done.

All of the alt costumes are coded like "scene d12 breakfast 5 a" with an "a" at the end of all alternate images so it loads the alternate image from the images folder. However in some instances this "a" is not needed as there is no alternate image, so no "d12 breakfast a" exists. The previous engine used for the game just ignored the extra character and would load "d12 breakfast 5.png" but the newer engine sees this extra character as an image attribute that doesn't exist so it throws an error looking like this...

So what happened to the protagonist's father? where did he disappear to? they seemed to be looking for him, looking for him, looking for him, looking for him, and - they stopped looking for him. Why? maybe the MC decided that he was already fine, he now has a lot of women and he can do whatever his heart desires with them - right? the Moor (father) did his job (begotten a son, raised him and raised him) - the Moor can leave ... Or did I somehow not pay attention to something and looked at it inattentively? =)

It is, but we don't know if it was complete destruction. It was a while since I played this but I think we learned what happend with mr Turner in after ending scene. I think that said scene was done to keep doors open in case that dev might want to do sequel someday.
The mega version is unavailable & the mixdrop link keeps taking me
