I played the game a long time ago and several times before I knew about this site. Since I can't find anything about it, does anyone know what the ending is all about and whether a sequel was planned or what was this mysterious ending about?

Judging it by that part of your text that I'm remarking, you just need to play the game. I never found the pace in the game too slow either, TBH. Maybe it is just not the right game for you.

That doesn't happen in DoD, but I can understand the mix-up...sometimes different storylines will blend together over time.

Great game, but very good, very complete.
The images and models are very detailed, you can even see the textures, I would criticize the animations because they look "hard" or I don't know, I couldn't explain it well, be careful, they are not bad.
As for the story, very good, the background it has is great, that is, I really liked that it mixes the future (aka present) with medieval-fantasy, I like that genre (it would be suitable for a prequel (?). Another thing I would criticize is a couple of "script holes" in the "Lost Memories" DLC, that is, there are two scenes where the MC of the main story has sex with the "mother and aunt", but this makes it " before" getting the fragments, if I'm not mistaken, the DLC is "prequel and Tracy's (the sister's) point of view".
For my part, I played it with the Lain's Mod and the Incest Patch, since it is strange to be an "outcast" within the family, I don't know what relationship I would have without modifying that.
I loved the characters, the best, the mother and the aunt, following the line Marcus>Tracy>The Apparition>Alice>Aby>The Others.
I found it funny that Tracy is dark or tanned, since she didn't fit with the "racialization" of the family, I don't know how to explain it without being racist haha.
Anyway, I recommend playing it with the two mods that I used and using the alternative costumes for the characters, it gives variety, also because it is quite long, so playing two chapters or one a day is enough, it took me a month because I was with the university, but in 15 days minimum, you finish it.
PS: For my part, I followed the "Route of Love" or something like that, in the ending "Alice feels bad for what she did" and I want to know, since there are multiple endings, if that is the "good ending" for say it somehow because I don't think I'll play it for a while. If anyone knows, welcome.

Anybody know how i can access the full scene gallery for the chracters? because when i go to the scene gallery and choose a character i can only see the first page of their scenes and i dont know how to see the rest of their scenes.
Will the game continue? Like there is definitely story left as in the last scene we could see that MC's father was alive and locked up somewhere, where someone comes and tells him that " we got all the time" or something.
