The current version is still just 1.0.3 yeah? I just used Lain's Mod, but renamed episode1.rpy to script.rpy and it worked like a charm. I think I also had scrappy though from when I was debugging things before figuring out that I needed to rename episode1 to script.

Lain's includes the ipatch with other features. I believe I used it with scrappy as well, just adding Lain's second and then renaming episode1.rpy to script.rpy in the `game/scripts/dialogue/dod` folder

Could someone please give us a step by step of which download, ic patch and the rest to get it working now days please! Lost a drive trying to recreate a few downloads.. thanks!

Lain's mod says it has the Incest patch in it.

Features:
  • This mod adds a full in-game walkthrough for the game Dreams of Desire! If a choice gives points or is required to see a scene it will be highlighted so you don't have to worry about missing scenes. Choices that aren't important and don't have lasting effects aren't highlighted so you still have freedom and can pick your preferred choice.

  • I've also improved many events in the game so that you won't miss certain scenes and are able to see more scenes in a single playthrough than you normally would be able to.

  • I've also made a few other improvements to the game such as:
    • Adding an optional cheat to the gallery screen which unlocks all of the scenes in the scene gallery
    • Restoring the censored Alice and Tracy finale scenes
    • Replacing the textbox with one that takes up less space on the screen
    • Including the incest patch in the mod

This developer has a strange quality of disappointing... Interesting game, horrible ending (and I followed the step-by-step guide to get a "good" one).
Anyway, now I understand what happened with Midnight Paradise.

How to Install
  1. Download the ZIP file.
  2. Open the ZIP file — inside, you'll find two folders.
  3. Drag and drop both folders into your existing Dreams of Desire game folder.
  4. Overwrite files if prompted.
That's it! You're ready to enjoy Dreams of Desire in full 4K glory!

⚠ Important Note

While I did my best to maintain high quality across all images,
some renders may show minor artifacts due to the nature of AI upscaling.

It's pretty rare (but mostly happens in dark scenes), but if you notice a few imperfections — that's why.

A: No — it’s the original game, just with upgraded visuals! No changes to story, gameplay, music, etc.
