Don't be shy and do a search within threads, you'll find e.g. this post

Often it is enough to just do what is mentioned under Now to enable Console Commands - you activate the console in 00console.rpy file by setting the variable for 'config.console = False' to True, then start the game and open console in game with shift+o, then type in commands of your choice. If this doesn't work you also need to copy / change to allow dev mode.

Be aware of the spelling. If you typed in wrong bs Ren'py interpreter will give a message 'error', 'not found', or similar. If you typed them correctly they are accepted, you don't get a notificarion. Hit Esc key and you're back in the game. Check stats you wanted to manipulate, they should have changed. It is working the same with every Ren'Py game.

4) Then unzip Dreams of Desire and then put it in Ren'Py folder.
5) Run Renpy.app, refresh your projects list, choose "Dreams of Desire..." > Launch Project.

PS: use Ren'Py SDK for every Ren'Py game - you will be able to run it all, even if there is no macOS version inside (AFAIK).
