hmm, i think that the term "motherfucker" has its roots in the Oedipal complex, and not the Electra Complex. If it was, there would be another word for it. And yes, in the english language, wordbuilding isn´t based on sex BUT if terms are widely accepted by the people, even when they come from another language, they will use them.
